After a long walk on the coast path, tired kids & worn out dogs in tow, we headed for lunch at The Crown. Sitting outside in the sunshine with a great Sunday lunch. I was suspicious of the low price & resigned to poor offering....More

We were made reasonably welcome and the food was adequate but the atmosphere was a little lacking. It must be very difficult running a pub in what is quite an out of the way location and hence it is probably necessary to go to extra...More

Set in country style garden surroundings, the pub offers a large car parking area with ample of outside seating for those sunny days. Coupled with a large childrens play area we also have pet ducks and chickens often wandering around the place. We are dog friendly and allow them into the bar area providing they are well behaved and on a lead. Inside the pub has a traditional feel about it with period features, exposed beams, hot fires for the winter months and low doorways, so do mind your head! We serve British pub food and always aim to surpass our customers expatiation but in the off chance if something is not quite right please do let us know so we can do our best to rectify things.
