We ate at this restaurant last Saturday night. It is so reasonably priced NZ$7 for entrees, $17 for a main and $8 for dessert. There is a great variety of food, and you can choose a set menu for $38, which consists of miso soup,...More
Small, bright & casual, this little eatery is deservedly popular. Fortunately we had booked as many were turned away. The menu is clearly set out with pictures to assist. We resisted the set menu options and chose the 14-piece steamed dumplings plus two mixed entrees...More
We had a selection of Teppan, Sushi and other delights. All our food was fresh, tasty and flavourful accompanied by lots of warm sake. A great meal in a location that looks small and unassuming but the food is great! Pricing is very reasonable, service...More

Had the Teriyaki Stead set menu cooked medium rare. Started with dumplings, all sauces were amazing, heaps of food, well worth the price! Will go back for sure to try some other menu items!
This is a great little local, food is tasty, service is prompt and friendly. It's not the sort of place you would go for a "special night out", but for a quick meal with friends or before/after a movie it's excellent.
