We had dinner here 2 weeks ago following a recommendation. Walking in we noticed a lack of ambiance. A lot could be done with décor but it hasn't. Although we were the only people on the restaurant side it took several minutes for someone to appear. Pump House ale on tap was a nice surprise. Although the soups are homemade,... More

We ate dinner just before closing and had a super well cooked meal with the most fantastic Sticky Toffee for dessert. You have to try it. We chatted with Nancy the owner who was super friendly. We highly recommend this for dinner.

The food was really uninspired and the bar populated by the local drunks....I would pass on this restaurant ( the bathrooms were a bit disgusting)

Service is good, staff is friendly, the owner is a sweetheart. Food is plain but good. Soups are homemade and delicious, homemade tea biscuits, breads and home made jams! The only item on the menu I would not recommend is the battered fish.

Love this place! It has friendly service and excellent food, esp. the biscuits. It closes early some days, so call ahead. We always get the fish and chips, but the wraps are also good.

were there with friends to listen to the life music. Every Thursday local musicians play life music on the small stage. We had some interesting hours with the different genres of music. Well performed. Had just a few drinks so can't say anything about the food.

I don't know when I last experienced such poor service and nasty food. My son and I were both disappointed. It took ten minutes to get any attention at all, then we ordered: clam chowder with whole wheat homemade biscuit, a fish chowder & whole wheat biscuit. My son and I were tired and hungry and had we not been... More

While traveling, this is decent spot to stop if you are tired of fast-food and aren't looking for anything fancy. The poutine was good, although we prefer curds. The bacon on the BLT was very good. The fried clams were good, but clam chowder was very bland. The Sticky Taffy Pudding Cake was worth the visit. The trip also made... More
