Fridays are the best day to eat there, amazing local talent to entertain you while you enjoy the excellent food. There is always a special of which I highly recommend as the chef tries something new to tempt you.

Truly enjoyed our girl friends lunch. The staff was very friendly, the kitchen is accomodating to dietary needs and the prices are very fair. Will be back.

There is not much to choose from in Amherst if you do not want burgers and fries or pizza. This small place has good seating with fresh flowers on all the tables. We had an excellent lunch with the wrap and the soup of the day. The wrap was toasted and filled with lots of good stuff, ham, onion, cucumber,... More

We have been travelling around in Canada and stopped by this place twice. It is one of the few places where they make a fresh sandwich and all the food is fresh. Not being overthrown with burgers fries and other fatmaking junk, this was a really enjoyable place. Go for it Bella!!!1

Bella's has a new owner and everything we heard suggests that Bella;s has a bright future, if the locals support. We had a delightful meal and attentive service, even if the waitress was lacking experience of 'finer' dining. We wish you well for the future

This small but elegant cafe run by a local chef cooks up great food in the downtown. Really enjoyable. Often music. Walkable from most of the B&Bs in town.

Was expecting a more extensive menu for lunch/dinner. Didn't stay. Left before ordering. No plans on returning without reference to an online menu going forward

Stopped here for lunch as there wasn't much to choose from. Nicely decorated, small cafe with fresh flowers on every table. Excellent homemade soup and great sandwiches. Server wasn't overly personable, but efficient. Offer beer and wine.

Thank Lake-people

902-660-3090 - must add this to the list, a choice for people who do not want fast food nor pub food nor ok chinese. Huge surprise to find this delightful restaurant in this town. Lovely watercolors by local artist, guitar player - excellent food - went back twice in 24 hours - supper was beautiful haddock, rice and veg $12. Went back for lunch - yummy panini $8 , chowder $6 and salads $8. Very reasonable
