Quaint atmosphere, great food and great service. For a French restaurant, the menu offers a good variety of items. The Foie Gras is wonderful, and the salads re great. The service is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Plan on returning soon and often

Dinner at La Perouse with 2 friends- amazing front patio, excellent and knowledgeable sommelier- Caroline, food was out of this world. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and highly recommended.

First walked in to a beautifully set up place with bold paints and gorgeous curtains. The menu is pretty, wonderful choices of entrees and main meal (plat principale). We ordered soup instead of an entree, thinking that ordering a 20$ entree and a 30$ main...dish was a little much... the soup was fantastic. The main dish arrived fast and was flavourful, but lacked vegetables or a filler of some sort. My husband had veal cheek which was so tender, you could have eaten it with a spoon. I had the scallop and shirmp duo (4 of each I believe) sired in butter (mmmm) but it came with one roasted garlic, two baby potatoes, few spring mushrooms (tiny things) and two very small parsnips. Omg we should have ordered an entree, but by then it was to late. So I’d say for the price, I kinda wished it had either rice, risotto, a pasta of sorts, or a salad added to the plate. Service was great, but in french only. My husband is American and I felt bad translating and ordering for him. The food we ordered was great but needed more for the price. Over all good for a nice occasion but take an entree... and a desert😳More

This has to be one of the best restaurants i have eaten in. The food is excellent! the portions are satisfying but not to big. And the deserts.......to be discovered!! The service was excellent. We even had the owner come and talk to us a...few times during our meal! Their wine selection is fine, we stayed with the french Bordeaux. So I can't speak for wines of other regions. All in all a wonderful experience from begining to end!! Will definitly go back!!More

Very Good Food. Presentation is nicely done. After a day of exploring the Eastern Townships this was a great spot if you like quality food. Slightly more upscale but worth it. Bring a Good Appetite!

We enjoyed a three course dinner (pre purchased at the hotel, a great deal) sitting on the patio last Saturday. The soup, entree and main course of Brome lake duck were delicious and well presented. The staff was pleasant, so was the service, well timed....Enjoyed ourselves.More

This restaurant was converted from a house and has great seating on an extended veranda. Our hostess and chef are the owners and were kind enough to provide seating without a reservation. We began on the veranda and when a torrential downpour began they moved...us inside. They provided a brief tour of the kitchen. The food was delightful!More

There were 6 of us and our group can be a bit fickle. (ie. opinionated) the staff, from the owner to the wait staff were so friendly. Afterwards, there was nothing but 'That was amazing!' 'I did not expect for it to be so good.'...'I'd go there again in a heart beat!' Since it was my pick, these were great words. this group would be harsh on me if they were at all disappointed. We were driving and this nice terrasse and went in. Stop in for lunch very interesting luncheon menu. My wife had the cod which was done just wright, crispy on the outside and transparent inside. I had the calf liver just delicious. Since there is...not that many places it would be to make reservation if they take them. Service was excellent, did not look at the wine list but the table next to us had good bottle. If you are in the eastern township it well worth the detour. We will definitely go back and try it for dinner.More

I enjoyed every minute of my dining experience at Restaurant La Perouse and consider it one of the best meals I've had in a long time. My husband and I dined here on our 5 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. The wine list...was diverse and extensive. The service was perfect - attentive yet subtle, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy ourselves without interruption. The food was amazing. The foie gras two ways was truly memorable. The portions were perhaps a bit too large for me, next time I will know better. I have been to many French restaurants in the US and none can compare to La Perouse. I look forward to returning!More
