Right outside of downtown. Close to everything. Rather extensive menu and of course lots to drink. Open for lunch and dinner which was nice. We arrived around 4:45 pm on a Tuesday evening. As we walked in, the smell of seafood was enough to knock you over, even through masks! Ok that can happen. So we sat ourselves on the enclosed patio. We were approached by a server who...explained the beers (which was good) told us they had no paper menus, we had to scan a barcode to see the menu, then he said "well are you eating? ". We were undecided and wanted to check the menu. He brought us drinks. We had our drinks, no one returned to our table. The staff was standing at various tables for 10+ minutes just chatting. No one came to offer another drink, or to ask if we wanted food. So we decided to leave. My boyfriend paid the bill. At which point the server said "what... No tip?" Sorry bud, where we come from, tips are earned. And we couldn't have felt more dismissed in this place. We left and took our business elsewhere. Never again Edgar's.More
This was our first trip to the Eastern Townships and this was one of our best meals. The outdoor seating was super nice, the craft beer was terrific and the food was great.
Good food and beer. A bit too busy for my liking but that’s understandable. Being that it’s so busy the service staff are a bit quick to move you on your way which kind of ruins the vibe. Parking is not adequate when they’re busy....I would return but know to make a reservation as last time we showed up they didn’t even have a table for 2.More
Great place to eat with kids! Accommodated allergy concerns for nuts and peanuts. Price was reasonable and portions too! Beer was great worth a try:) Totally recommend this place!
We went there with friends and children on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was very busy, so we would not have expected to be served immediately. Two of us got the main dish after 20 mins. However, the waitress came back 20 mins after to...tell 2 others that she did not have several of the dishes we had been ordering. It would have been easier to say immediately, but obviously she was not aware... There was in fact no salad left in the kitchen, and we saw a cook coming back with plenty of them after one hour. We all laughed and finally had a good time with our friends & family. The beef tartar was very decent and not overpriced (CAD19). We all enjoyed the IPA which was on tap. The food was a bit variable. The fish and chips provided great chips but the fish was not crispy and was a bit oily. The burgers were very good. Unfortunately they did not have any duck...confit so we could not taste one of their specialities.More

My wife and I and another couple had an excellent lunch at the Hyperlodge just on the outskirts of Bromont, Quebec. You should take the second Bromont exit, Exit 178 to get there, which will be on your left. For lunch, we ordered calamari as...an entree and then O had the Pretty B**tard Burger (named after a beer) and my wife had the Cajun Chicken Salad. The two meals were very good as was the service and surroundings. If you're near Bromont, this is definitely a place not to miss!More
I had the best ham sandwich I've ever had here! I'm still thinking about it because I would never be able to get anything as good from the city I live in. With food, it's about the little things and they take care of the...details. From the marinade of the meat, the freshness of the bread, paired with the right cheese, everything was perfect. This place is amazing! I would highly recommend it!More
The restaurant is located a few minutes from the Bromont golf course and ski hill. Its a local pub that makes there own beer. The food is pub style which includes burgers,poutine au canard etc.. The have a terrace with a DJ that plays music...which creates a great atmosphere. However, it took one hour and a half to finally get our meals from the time we ordered. The waiter was apologizing for the delay and offered us some free chips while we waited.More
A lot of the ambiance of this place, which would be annoyingly hipster chic in an urban setting, is perfect for Bromont. Good onsite beer and finger food, music, cheerful staff, and a fire pit and patio outside.
Our large party of 14 was well cared for. Service was friendly and efficient. The waiter set up a table for our kids and treated with respect. The Burgers (8 of the 14 of us went with burgers) were delicious. Our kids loved the fish...and chips on a stick!More
We had looked up places for casual dinner, and this place popped up first. We were told that they don't take reservations on Saturdays, but figured we'd still go and see how long the wait was. When we walked in, we were pretty much already...drooling just from the smell of food cooking. We were told the wait would be about 15 min, which was pretty accurate. The service was great all around. And the food...! We ordered the Burger Garni, the beef was de.li.cious., as was the bun and the fries (sounds simple, but they do things right here). Also got the carrot cake for dessert which is equally tasty. Even if you have to wait a little longer than 15 min, it's worth the wait if you're craving a good burger ☺More
Knowledgeable staff and really great food (wonderful tartare) as well as drinks. Open super late, though maybe a bit far from some hotels if you are just visiting.
