My wife and I went here during an art festival because they were the busiest restaurant that was open. We ordered, I received my salad, my wife received her food but I did not receive my entree. After waiting a half hour, I asked the...waitress about my entree. She said it would be out shortly. After another 20 minutes, she came to my table to ask if I had received the entree. When she was told “no” she left, returned and said that the kitchen had lost the order. I told her that after waiting for almost an hour that I was leaving. She returned and charged me $12 for the side salad. I know they were busy and mistakes occur. The sign of a good restaurant is how you handle mistakes. Not following up after being reminded twice that I didn’t have my entree was poor. Not apologizing and writing off the overpriced salad was even worse. I liked the salad. My wife enjoyed her food. Maybe they were overwhelmed. But the customer service was exceptionally poor.More

Owner Martin is talkative and welcoming. Menu is full of interesting entrée size dishes and the wine list is interesting and will not bust your wallet. Great selection of about 200 whiskey types. Great relaxed atmosphere after a day of skiing.

Very reasonable price for a charming, gourmet meal. Staff, service delightful. Everyone wore face masks, bathrooms are clean. Would love to come back and sample some of their scotch. Over 150 varieties!

Normally this is a 4 star restaurant but this time the food was a little off. Grant it with COVID it’s a bit crazy for everyone. Let’s get back to the food. My only issue was the salad. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered in the...past. However, both my husband and myself were really disappointed with the salad. The dressing was simply “oil”. I had to wipe the oil from my mouth. No salt, no seasoning....just oil. The server should perhaps of told us when we ordered a salad as appetizer that the steak frites came with salad. Could have maybe suggested an alternative. So we ate of lot of oily salad. However, the steak frites made up for it. As usual, it was cooked to perfection. I find the portion perfect for the price you pay. Only the terrace was open and there was plenty of room for everyone to safe distance from each other. You could see it was hard on the servers as they had those plastic shields on their faces and they were uncomfortable in the heat. Sangria was nice, could have had some fruit in it but very very tasty. We were not asked whether we wanted dessert. Part of resto protocol. But we had plenty to eat. I had made a reservation so I was able to bypass the long line and go straight to my table. I will definitely return as the ambiance is always wonderful and the food great.More

arrived at 6:30, not very many people but waited too long for duck salad that had a minuscule amount of duck. Waited 1 hour for next small plate of risotto. Cancelled next course and left. Many other tables were served way before us and I...only an apology was given when we expressed our disappointment. We will not return and will not recommend this restaurant to the hotel that we regularly stay in.More

I didn't know that there were two restaurants and was quite disappointed the first time when I was sent to the Italian restaurant on the back side, but I heard great comments on the (smaller) restaurant on the front site that we decided to come...back... and I must say that it was the thing to do! The courgette carpaccio, tuna tataki, lobster raviolis, grilled vege salad were all yummy, sophisticated, well presented. Price for 2 adults and 2 children: CAD150 before tip.More

Great restaurant with authentic and excellent French food. My steak frites was the best I've had this side of Paris. The ambiance was great and the service attentive. The singer in the back section was very talented. Highly recommended!

In Bromont touring the Louise Penny stories with the wife and found this in town gem on Trip Advisor. Good news for us was out waitress Julie (a very lovely young woman) spoke English and was very helpful with the menu. Good wine and wonderful...cocktail to begin. The cheese and meat appt. was well presented and plentiful. We had the escargot (very good), the steak (cooked perfect and wonderful flavor with gravy n cheese curds and Nancy had the risotto with mushrooms n ham....also very flavorful. We ended with a nice coffee drink and headed back to the camper ahead of the rain. Very cool spot with nice covered patio outside. Inside looked very nice as well. Don’t miss the wash room with a bathtub! Good food, reasonable prices, good staff and very clean looking too.More

They have a good variety of shareable plates. My wife and I had 4, and they were all delicious. We shared a homemade dessert ... a raspberry cake ... and it was amazing!
