So after a few years of inactivity this restaurant has sprung back to life. An old favourite of my and my son in law’s we decided to try it again. A very busy, filled to capacity, Friday night. Bring your own wine is a plus....Dinner was very good, the lobster bisque was marginal at best while my main , shrimp and scallops , was tasty, it was short on quantity three medium shrimp and two small scallops. We will try again next weekend and see how it turns out.More
We have enjoyed this restaurant several times but Monday night was a miss. We were two couples and forgot our wine, we asked the hostess for the nearest Dépanneur so we could purchase a bottle of wine. She said it was closed and there was...no where else. My husband went in search and found a Dépanneur selling cold wine a couple of blocks away - thank you google. Restaurant was busy and service was very slow. We were patient but after two hours politely asked the server when to expect our main course. They men had ordered moles and fruit and were very hungry by this time. We were rudely answered that he was busy and half our party had ordered too many courses (we ordered the menu du jour - 3 courses). We were told the kitchen was busy but one minute later he delivered our plates, or should I say he threw our plates at the table. His demeanour changed and he seemed very angry at us - no apology. We finished our dinner, and asked for the bill. Yes, we left a good tip. Before the long trip back to Montreal, we used the washroom, it was filthy. Not just with evening activity, this was fine, but needs a good scrubbing to remove month's worth of dirt.More
The person who met us at the door was. LETS SAY was having a bad day. But our server CHAD made up for any short comings. #commechezsoibromont the food was sooooo good. Lobster brisk 😋 (bread could b warm). Presentation was beautiful minus a steak...knife in the middle of the meal. Overall YOU GUYS KILLED IT. AND I BROUGHT MY OWN WINE. We had a great experience at Comme chez soi. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Our waitress ,Aisha, was wonderful and we truly loved her service. Highly recommend.
No one to greet us at arrival for a few minutes so we walk in and seat ourselves. It wasn't -20C outside or anything but there were cold drafts coming from the window. Soup arrived at room temperature. I asked to heat it up and...it was only heated up slightly. We're passed strike 3 already here... Ordered the most expensive thing on the menu and half of it again at room temperature... After the soup failure I didn't even bother asking to heat it up even when the waitress asked if all was ok... Done the meal. It was tasty enough but again, who's checking plate temps? Obviously no one. Waitress asks if we'd like dessert but we're stuffed and decline... She turns her back and runs away without offering us the coffee or tea as part of our table d'hôte... We're not in a hurry so we wait for her to pass by again and when she does, she tells us she'll bring our bill and again runs off. I have to speak rather loudly to get her attention that we would like our included tea. Guess what? The tea water wasn't even hot... Too many fails... We should have gone back to Edgar Hyper Lodge and won't be returning to this fail house ever again.More

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants we've been to. Our hostess Aicha was nothing less than fantastic. Smiling, laughing and her recommendations were perfect. The food was just on another level. We had the Filet Mignon and the Basilic Salmon as the main...dishes and topped if off with the best shortcake in the world :). Tried this restaurant for the first time. We love all restaurants in Bromont so we hoped this one would be enjoyable also. Our server talked so fast we had a hard time understanding him. We are fully bilingual so that was not a problem. He...seemed stressed maybe. I took the filet mignon And asked for medium well. It came back, no joke, burnt. I took two bites and it tasted burnt, looked burnt and was impossible to even cut. The server said this was how they cooked their steak medium well. No pink at all. Well then how do you cook a steak that is well..I mean it cant cook more than this. He was impolite and argumentive. I just wanted him to leave it was getting embarrassing and I couldn’t understand half what he said due to the speedy talk. Never ever again.More
A friend and I in town for a spa day chose this restaurants based on reviews and it did not disappoint. I had a group of appetizers that included the lobster bisque, salad, and shrimp tempura. All were delicious and beautifully presented. My friend had...the pork mignon and said it was outstanding - tender and flavorful. The price was reasonable, and the service was very good. Two items worth noting - it's BYOW every night and Monday and Tuesday is special pricing - wish we had been there on one of those days.More

We had an early reservation but it was pretty busy the night we were there. They don't sell alcohol so you bring your own wine/beer. The waiter was a great help with menu choices and was super helpful and friendly throughout. Highlights were the lobster...bisque with seafood and the calf's liver. Unbelievably wonderful flavours and textures in a cosy setting. Will definitely be back when we are next in Bromont. It was a highlight of our trip.More

We enjoyed a delicious dinner in an environment with a great vibe. But what made the evening especially delightful was our wonderful waitress Aicha. My husband speaks French but I don’t and she happily moved between the two languages to explain the items on the...menu for us. By the way, the menu is written in both languages and it is extensive with lots of great choices. It was hard to decide but with Aicha’s help we made our choices and enjoyed a fabulous meal. I highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of Bromont.More
