We were here to meet a friend for coffee on a Saturday morning. Very busy is how you would describe the cafe. Staff very friendly and helpful and found us a table (they put reserved signs on the larger tables to ensure that they are not occupied by one or two people). We had a very long wait for someone... We went to The Apothecary for a friends 60th Birthday Party. Another Howick Treasure. It was a great place and recommend to anyone to give this place a try. The Staff were great and the food that they served was outstanding.

First time here food was good. Went there 1/4/17 for breakfast , my partner ordered poached eggs on multigrain toast with tomatoes. You could've had better bread out of a packet of molenberg from the supermarket. Absolute rubbish and unbecoming of a cafe supposedly to have won an award . Got the award now we do rubbish !! Not going... More

Visited this restaurant with my families. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Ordered the signature sandwich with chips. Portion was huge but nothing wow in terms of the ingredients, which is the usual egg, tomato, lettuce, ham, onion, cheese...etc. The kids had fish and chips. The chips was particularly good, very crunchy.

I had to return a flat white once as it was cold, not the usual standard here. Cold or burnt flat whites are most annoying and should not be tolerated, consistency is key. But on the whole I like the atmosphere here my husband thinks the opposite so I usually go alone and read. It's very kid friendly and they... More

Staff were lovely. We were advised of a half hour wait on food, which turned into an hour. The staff informed of us of this. A bit disappointed with the food, $21 for eggs benedict with salmon and I was given stale bread with a tiny piece of salmon that was no more than 2cm by 2cm. Rather disappointing for... More

Came for brunch. Food ordered off the menu and off the counter was good, and it came out quite quickly too.
