We ate here on our first night in Lunenburg and it was fine - hubby had fish and chips - two large pieces of battered haddock, scallops and huge shrimp and a LOT of fries! We wanted coffee afterwards and asked for white coffee which they had never heard of! Two countries divided by a common language. We learned our... More

We had a fried fish prawn and scollops supper. Really well cooked and presented. Staff very good. Friendly and attentive without being too pushy.

Service was very good. The food was good, not great. I had fish and chips (lots of breaded, fried on the fish, I ended up taking it all off). My husband had fried fish, scallops and shrimp. His fish was the same as mine but he said the other seafood was more like a panko fried which was better. We... More

We planned to dine here on our 2nd night in Lunenburg. We wandered thru the virtual maze thru the fishery museum and hallways and finally found the entrance. After going outside for a cigarette I found a side entrance on the dock that takes you right upstairs into the bar area...much easier access. We bellied up to the bar for... More

We went over for a light afternoon meal and ordered a fish & chips. The fish was very crispy. It wasn't bad but nothing special about that dish. However, I have to say their service was excellent!!

Best fish and chips EVER. The coleslaw is not your usual mayonnaise recipe. The best ever! And the fish "crunch" when you bite into the fresh halibut Would come here again and again if not 4500miles away

While in the picturesque little town we decided to stop at this restaurant based on Trip reviews. It was happy hours so started with the oysters and a cold beer (good). Then came the seafood chowder which was packed with fish and very little base (not my favorite). We had the lobster which was excellent. The restaurant has a great... More

Four of us were going to "Glimpses" in the theater upstairs and were in a hurry. The waitress assured us that she could get us out in 20 minutes and suggested the fish chowder as the fastest meal. We ordered that and it was on the table in five minutes. It was absolutely wonderful-- a large bowl full of (mostly)... More

You actually have to walk through the Fisheries Museum to get to this restaurant (unless you sit right on the water outside and downstairs). The views are nice, the service could not have been friendlier, but the food was lacking. Thank goodness the lobster was simply and properly cooked. But the appetizers and desserts were mediocre at best. A general... More

Situated on the wharf, you can have a beautiful patio experience. The service is friendly and quick. Good choice of craft beers and wines. Classic fish/seafood menu of Nova Scotia : fish and chips (generous portions, perfect batter) and lobster rolls / fish tacos (almost perfect). Definitely recommend it.
