We usually stop here for lunch when we visit Mont Tremblent. They have great drinks, great service at the bar and very good food. The portions are very good, and the value is great for what you get. There is an area to sit outside and tables inside. We always sit at the bar, which is a great experience. We... More

Liked very much the huge smoked meat poutine. The wine list is interesting. The pea soup was very disappointing, not at all typical and served only with little crackers. The ambiance is nice, great view on the slope. Ok service, could improve.

Stopped here for a bite on our first night. Located at the base of the mountain with some nice views. Both my wife and I had burgers, they were really good. Tasted like fresh beef. The fries were just ok but the burgers were so good we didn't care. One of the larger restaurants in the village which was nice... More

We sat for a late lunch/dinner after skiing. Nice setting with nice view of the mountain. Service was good and fast. Portions are big so go easy on the appetizers. If you order pasta make sure you mention that you want it freshly made. My son's tortellini was not freshly made.

It was such a beautiful sunny day we would have preferred a table outside but it was busy and a bit of a wait so we decided to sit inside. It was still great with a good view of the mountain and all the skiers / boarders riding down . My Daughter had the poutine ( not as good as... More

I thought the feeling of being outside was clever.Maple and pine trees up to the ceiling with blue skies and birds in the tree. Food was quick and cheep. Nice drink selection. I shared a chicken ranch wrap with my daughter. Many TV's around the bar area.

The Shack is all about après ski fun, a great drink and some sport bar food. It's not bad, but it's not fine dining either. It's a fun place to hang out with your friends either for a lunch break or a drink and dinner after a ski day, the location is the best!!

We came here specifically because we contacted them ahead of time due to my daughter having celiac disease and not able to eat gluten. Le shack is one of few restaurants in the Tremblant village that has a dedicated fryer for their gluten free fries. They also offered to use Gf bread instead of a bun for their delicious hamburgers.... More

Good for kids and friendly staff. Food is mediocre at best. French onion soup is salty and not flavourful. Salad was under dressed.

Description
One of the most popular restaurants in Tremblant’s pedestrian village, Le Shack stands on the original site of the Chalet des Voyageurs, built by the legendary Joe Ryan in 1939 at the foot of the south side of Mont Tremblant. Philadelphia-born Joe Ryan was an eccentric millionaire and a visionary. With encouragement from his wife Mary and a parish priest, Father Deslauriers, Ryan founded the second ski resort in North America: Mont Tremblant Resort. During the 1940s and 50s, the Chalet des Voyageurs was the preferred meeting place of skiers, who’d congregate after a day on the slopes to swap stories with friends. With its warm and cozy atmosphere, Le Shack carries on this tradition of offering the best après-ski in Tremblant. The “Shack” – so named for the Quebec “sugar shack” in tribute to the longstanding tradition of shacks erected for the spring maple syrup season – recreates the spirit of good times with good friends. To honour Joe Ryan and perpetuate the tradition of the sugar shack, the folks at Resto-Bar Le Shack welcome you for your après-ski gatherings at the foot of Mont Tremblant.
