This was our first hot stone dining experience and we truly enjoyed it! We were welcomed and asked if we wanted to sit inside or on the porch. It was a chilly evening for August so the greeter assured us that a heater was on and escorted to a lovely table on the porch. As we were new to the... More

Service was not bad but there were a few mix-ups. The hostess was very friendly but did seem overwhelmed. The food was delicious but there should be full size plates to put the food on as it is cooked on the hot stone.

This is a small restaurant that is located in a converted typical older québécois home. The restaurant is a family affair run by a French chef. The menus is always special and excellent.Price wise hard to beat the table d'hote.Their specialty is a cook your meat on a hot stone served at your seat .The choice of food to cook... More

This place has everything that is needed for a perfect restaurant, except the service. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely but the service needs work. We walked at 7:25pm for a 7:30pm reservation and we weren't greeted until 7:35pm. We sat on our table and nobody came to take an order until 7:55pm. Finally we finished our... More

I think because we had such amazing service and equally great meal the night before that we just expected the same from this restaurant. The service was disappointing from the moment we walked in,not really friendly at all. As far as the meal goes and yes we did do the hot stones and yes we did know that the cooking... More

Dear customer, I am really saddened that you did not appreciate your experience. We propose a wide choice of meats. Known meats but also games and exotic meats among which most cost very expensive. (Ostrich, kangaroo, camel, crocodile, elk, bison etc.) We respect the integrity of the muscle so that each can appreciate at best his experience. For those among... More

We were among three couples dining together at C'est la Vie. Overall, a lovely, unrushed dinner with great food. The service was good (though a missed appetizer due to some confusion, and when I pointed out that I'd asked for no bacon on my asparagus, the asparagus was removed and not replaced). My companions each had the hot stone dinner,... More

We have now been to this restaurant three times, and each visit was very special in it's own way. My wife loves deer, caribou, etc., and this place definitely delivers (have a close look at the mix/match part of the menu). Also plenty of room, btw, for the "beef" mainstream guy like me. Order the "hot stone" plate. Don't touch... More

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch. We were given a lovely table on the verandah. We waited forever just to get water. The owner and wait staff kept saying they'd be right over, but they kept avoiding us. They told us it was there first busy day for summer lunch. Clearly they were overwhelmed but... More
