We ordered takeout. Please phone to ask about pricing. Their online menu is old, has spelling errors and is not formatted for mobile phones...it should really be deleted or updated! We ordered 2 pc Cod chips takeout. Comes wrapped in an abundant amount of paper, so if its wrapped too long it will get soft and lose its crunch! Eat... More

A group of 6 for a birthday dinner. One of the group had been before but all of us were tourists in Qualicum. The menu looked great so we made a reservation for 6:30 PM on Easter Sunday. Drinks were ordered and mine was a Kilkenny. The server came with the tray and told me they didn't have it but... More

We stopped here after a cold and wet day of birding. It was very quiet and we were the only table but the food was excellent. We both had the ling cod fish and chips and I also had the chowder. Both were fresh and the portions are big! Service was great - no complaints at all. Very happy to... More

It was a very bad experience. My wife and I went out for her birthday lunch. We were in Qualicum Beach for the first time and hoped that it would be good. Unfortunately, it turned mediocre very fast. The scallops were microscopic, overcooked and bland. I had the oyster burger and it was super fishy, the batter was greasy, the... More

Hi Patrice and Alison, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your opinion and experience. Sadly you were actually served by the owner that day and I remember you very well and your dishes, so allow me to actually leave an honest response to your inaccurate review. The oysters are fresh each week out of Fanny Bay as... More

Out for a drive and had noticed this restaurant a few times as we drove by so decided to stop in for lunch. It is quite a pleasant restaurant with an English flair. My wife had fish and chips - good size order, but the fish was rather tasteless. I had a beef pie which was pretty good. Good size... More

Went to Fish Tales with my family. The place was dead but the weather was not nice & it was super bowl sunday. We stood at the front for a while before being greeted. Our server was horrible. She seated us next to a drafty emergency exit door. She did not know what the specials were and had to read... More

My wife suggested we give this place a try and we are glad we did. It has the charm of an English cottage inside and out. Very quaint and welcoming. We were seated at an intimate table by a window. The menu cover, tells the Tale of how this place came to be, and in going through the food selections,... More
