As I’ve mentioned in the past, Hi Genki is a bit of a hidden gem tucked away next to the National Nikkei Heritage Centre. That’s a slight misnomer as plenty of people are aware of the great food here now and lineups during lunchtime are...More
If you visit Hi Genki on the weekends be prepared to wait to be served as the restaurant primarily serves meals to it's residents but also offers a dining experience to visitors. This is an excellent opportunity to savor home style food.

More of a dinig hall type facility for the seniors home above, but it offers no frills dining on a budget. The only drawback, the menu is rather limited and no alcohol is served.
