I live in Cranbrook and eaten here twice. Service is okay , but the food is remarkably poor , considering what the prices are. My wife had prime rib. We both agreed that it was reheated . Kinda tough and not melt in your mouth like prime rib should be. I ordered a schnitzel , which was the special, but... More

This is a terrific restaurant and one of my favourites. When we have out of town guests we usually take them to Frank's. Although Frank has passed away, his family has continued with his tradition of serving top notch food at a reasonable price. Don't get me wrong. This is not a budget restaurant but if you order a regular... More

Your basic darkish dining room with three TV's showing sports clips. Food was good - we split a schnitzel and they were tasty and huge - enough for sandwiches the next day. Veggies were a little tired. Only complaint was about a 20 min wait from the time we asked for our check until I finally walked to the front... More

I have eaten here a half dozen times and never had a bad experience. The owners will often come out and personally see that you are happy with your meal. Best dishes are the prime rib, spaetzle and schnitzel. Not the cheapest option, but quality is good. The Saturday night buffet is worth it - all the best dishes in... More

We went here for a dinner one evening. Had a fairly large group but were able to be seated almost immediately. Service could have been better, but not really an issue. Food was good, but over priced. Have had better for much less. Don't know if I'd return just because of price.

Nice decor. Excellent service. This was our first stop after entering Canada at Roosville. We had the Friday lunch buffet. It was more that we usually spend for lunch ($18C) but a fair value. Not being familiar with German food, I skipped the mushroom sauce for the schnitzel. Bad mistake. I had to have another schnitzel to try the sauce.... More

This restaurant was recommended to us. We ate dinner here and it was ok. I thought it was overpriced for what you got. The atmosphere is nice, but I probably would not go back here to eat if in the area.

Try to impress with the size of the meal but it's just more to throw out. Service was great. We both had schnitzel so not sure of the other dishes but what we had was very bland and uninteresting.

We ate lunch here one of the first days we were in the area on vacation. Our daughter loved her meal so much the kids both practiced saying "schnitzel" all week asking to go back. The Friday evening buffet did not disappoint. We were able to try so many things off the menu, the drinks and dessert were delicious. We... More

Worst Caesar I ever tasted. Went for the beef ribs (which were fabulous the last time I was there), and they are now off the menu. Kudo's to the manager for not giving us a bill when we left.

Thank Keith R
