Found out that restaurant closed on their facebook page when their website was down. New restaurant took over the same location, Highmark Lounge & Grill, but can't find a website for them either.

The restaurant is not very big but has a nice and rustic interior. Also our waitress made the stay that we felt home very soon. Steaks and dessert (chocolate cake) were excellent.

We love the Great White North! The log bar, the moose heads, the cozy cabin feel...this place makes you want to chill out with your friends, enjoy a delicious meal and nice cold bevy.

Great White North Restaurant Just before Revelstoke there is a lovely little restaurant called Great White North. You expect a burger place, and it has burgers, sure. What you don't expect, and get, are mozzarella and ricotta stuffed ravioli or braised short ribs or steaks....More

Been there a few times and the food is always great. Its not in the core part of town so its probably missed a lot.

Great White North's food ranges dependent on who is cooking. Sometimes it is AWESOME and sometimes - ok. Love their side salad though! Also=if you are there in the spring, watch all the hummingbirds fight over the feeders! Amazing experience!
