Nice and charming place to go. Served very good food for dinner. Friendly personnel, good price/quality level.

Great food. Great decor. Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed ourselves. Our teenager had the kitchen sink burger - OMG!! It was massive but he ate the whole thing and loved it. The nachos were great too.

I took my family here for dinner. Staff was super nice and friendly to myself as well as my younger children. The place is decorated with skis and snowboards. Their black bean veggie burgers are quite tasty and so is their falafel sandwich. Will definitely...More

Ate here one evening. Meal was fine - large portions served inside or outside on decking area with plenty of sun shades. It was nice but not amazing. Would eat here again but it would not be my first choice.

The restaurant is full of interesting decor from skis to funny posters and pictures on the wall. The menu has lots of variety. We were both pleased with our choices. It was raining the day we ate at there but it looked like the patio...More

Decor, menu & notes all show a great sense of humor! Combined with the excellent service, food & beer, this is a must. We had the steaks, pulled pork and poutine, and all were as good as we have had anywhere else. Definitely go again!

Pros: novel furniture, unique atmosphere which was very enjoyable. Cons: burgers were not good. Maybe we just had bad luck as the food that everyone else was having looked great.

This place is very popular. Patio and inside were packed so be prepared for a line-up and possibly a wait for your food. Both were worth it. Prices were decent, good variety on the menu (some gluten-free choices) and staff were friendly. Pizza was tasty...More

Yes it is. As the Village Idiot is, I believe, a food primary restaurant children are permitted as late as they're open.

Their website says 'hours may differ' on Christmas Day - so it isn't saying 'closed'. You may want to call them - number on their website is 250-837-6240
