It was hot cross bun season when we stopped in and theirs were so good that I made a point of coming back the next day to get another set (by 9 am there were only two left) Also had a cinnamon roll and a fab cookie. place is tiny so tended to eat in the room but a great... More

We've always gone out of our way to stop at the Sunflower whether visiting Squamish or en route to Whistler. This is a truly "from scratch" bakery cafe with everything made fresh on site. Breads, pastries, cakes including wonderful soup and sandwich combos for lunch. An excellent coffee bar too. We always take home a loaf of bread to enjoy... More

Nothing to write home about but had a small variety of foods. One thing that stands out was a surprise on the bill for $1 for a slice of cheese and 86 cents for a slice of tomato! They didn't say they were charging for it.

So we decided to try this place out because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. Everyone has a bad day, but this was just not impressive. It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon, and there was no line up. Yet it took 25 minutes to make a sandwich. I had the ham and cheese, which was a piece of ham, a... More

Excellent bakery, we ordered 2 danishes one for the road and one to eat there, but ended up eating them both at breakfast. Lemon pound cake when with us and it was super moist and yummy as well. Coffee was very good as well and its a cute little shop right on the main street.

This is our go to spot when we visit Squamish. Their soups and sandwiches are outstanding. Yesterday's soup was a tomato and basil soup, yummy! and the tuna sandwich was terrific too.

Sunflower is right in the centre of town. It's a great place to get a coffee, a sandwich and something for dessert. Everything seems to be made on site, and the staff is really friendly. The only thing we didn't really like all that much was the butter tart. Everything else was great. And if you are visiting Canada, you... More

Feels like you are in someone's home having them cook for you! The sandwhiches are simple but healthy and good - and who doesn't love some gelato!

The only downside was the long wait, had we been in a rush we wouldn't have been able to try it out. The poor lady was working alone, but doing her best and keeping friendly even in the rush. The hot cross buns were our favourite! So tasty and fresh from the oven.

We stopped in here after travelling to the area, and we needed a snack. We enjoyed the greeting we got as we entered, and the service was great. We had sausage rolls and cold drinks. Not sure if the sausage rolls were homemade, but they sure tasted like they were! This is an old style diner type of café, and... More
