We visited today for my birthday while home on vacation. We started with the lobster wontons and lobster spring rolls. Both fantastic but would choose the wontons over the spring rolls. For mains we had the fish and chips duo. Large portion and excellent choice....More

Great place! VERY friendly people, from the owner/chef to the servers. Food was exceptionally great. Either come with an appetite, or be prepared to take the leftovers home for later. We will be back!

Seafood chowder was wonderful. Also had the lobster and shrimp club sandwich. Was also great. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere and the chef came out to chat. Highly recommended.

Second visit. Portions have gotten larger but absolutely no change in quality. Excellent quality and service. Small and cozy atmosphere. Go hungry.

The Lobster Pound and Moore was the highlight of our visit to North Sydney. Chef Richard Moore served each of us the biggest, most flavorable lobsters we had ever eaten. He made sure we knew how to attack the monsters to get every delectable bite...More

It's unfortunate you couldn't express your feelings when visiting but instead chose to do it anonymously on trip advisor. Good job.

We had dinner at the Lobster Pound, the halibut served two ways was a treat, cooked perfectly. The appetizers are enough to make a meal all by themselves. The shoe string fries were wonderful and the service was flawless. The chef/owner, Richard was a delight...More

Call but arrive with a better attitude than jackie as she was one of our more rude customers. Also doesn't know how to ask for something nicely.
