Was surprised to read the other negative comments about this place! The owner seemed very nice & pleasant and we had a lovely time on a cold winter day. The butter tarts are a must as they were very good! Didn't try any coffee, but did see a good variety available for all coffee lovers! Cheers..

A number of years ago, the Muskoka Bean Cafe moved from a spacious storefront to a very small, narrow storefront on Main St. Why would be the question. Maybe it was a landlord/tenant thing, but you can hardly get in the place to order a coffee or pastries, etc due to its unusually small size. The coffee and pastries are... More

Nice little independent coffee shop in downtown Bracebridge. Suggest you order your drink but have it outside so you can people watch. The italian sodas we had were delicious on a warm day.

We visited on a rainy, cold, and dark day. Any hot cup of average coffee would have tasted great in those conditions. What was very excellent was their homemade quiche. Had 3 of these.

Well it should have been a clue that this establishment has been open for awhile and still only has 100 likes on facebook. Rude staff, and worse coffee. Cottagers should avoid it!!!!

The main street of Bracebridge has two great little coffee places: Marty's, down by the bridge, and this place, in the middle of this hilly town. It's unique and it features a calm atmosphere for caffeine lovers.

Dropped in The Bean Cafe for a snack while waiting for movie time. The cafe was reasonably busy but we were greeted and addressed by the owners while we decided what to order. A nice noodle-tomato soup and an egg salad sandwich was the selection. Other customers were also nice and offered me a newspapwr while I was waiting. Decent... More

Went for a coffee after the parade. Someone, who I now assume was the owner, was sweeping out front. I waited for him to finish his spot but he made no attempt to move out of the way. In fact he made me feel like I was an inconvenience for trying to walk on the sidewalk. I spend $14.00 and... More

Today we visited the coffee shop. Actually turned around to try it. When we went in the owner had a chip on his shoulder full of miserable. As I wLked in he lifted the mat made me the paying customer feel like I was in convincing me . He struded around like he wanted his importance known. He then proceeded... More

Coffee and cappuccino was fantastic. The owners were warm and welcoming - knew a lot of the locals and got to know us in the 2 days we were there ... and welcomed us back the second day like we'd been in town our whole lives. Great place - definitely worth a visit.
