We stopped mid-afternoon at The Huron Club and found that the all-day menu was available. We ordered chick pea frites to share as a starter and each of us had the burger. The frites came stacked on the plate with our choice of sauce, pesto. They were light in weight, browned on the exterior and very airy inside. Our burgers... More

The menu was varied and had many interesting choices. We ran into several of our friends here. I would definitely return

Recommended by our B and B hosts and we pass along the recommendation. Our waitress was very helpful and suggested a very nice local craft beer that was great. The Caesar salad had a delicious lemony taste that was light and not too plentiful so romaine was not overloaded. I had the baked chicken penne- it was out of this... More

I have very mixed feelings about the Huron Club - I've had some terrific appetizers there and some ho-hum meals. The kitchen seems to be inconsistent, but their presentation is always well done. The bar area inside is fun but the outside patio faces a busy intersection so can be noisy. The HC is not my first choice to go... More

Recommended by Craigleith Manor owner and an A+++ from us. The French Onion soup is top notch. One of our favorite wines on the list. Great waitstaff. Nice ambience. Easy parking. Would make this a return stop!

Enjoyed the meal. Meat plater appetizer was delicious. Fish and chips were good and the coleslaw had an interesting and good taste. Dessert was great, tried all but one, salty caramel icecream was interesting. Peanut butter mousse with the blueberry topping was delicious. Will definitely return.

As luck would have it, we dined here on a lovely Saturday evening with near perfect weather. While we had a reservation, we were offered outdoor seating on the patio with the option to go back to our indoor table if we changed our mind. We stayed on the patio, music just right and no too much street noise. We... More

I found this restaurant just doing a Google search but I am so lucky I did. It is a great looking place inside that you feel comfortable in a suit or in jeans and a t-shirt. The service was great and the food was very good.

“Old faithful”, that's how I think of the Huron Club restaurant and bar in Collingwood. We have been there a number of times and have never been disappointed. Keep in mind that all excellent restaurants are busier during the peak tourism times in winter and summer. I think one of the keys to success of any business is consistency. In... More

Description
The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family business that has that family touch. Every diner's experience is personal. The staff are engaging and friendly, the food is fabulous, and the prices are superb for what you get. Not to mention the local live music (available 5 days a week, Wed-Saturday nights, as well as over Sunday brunch), creating that comfy-cool atmosphere. It's casual, but yet, you'd be right at home for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or anniversary, and definitely suitable for a business lunch or dinner. They also have a beautiful events gallery upstairs for functions of any kind (complete with multimedia equipment for presentations). Their patio is a summer highlight and the building itself has such an interesting history and feel to it (as one of Collingwood's beautiful heritage buildings). Overall, a wonderful place to go for any occasion, big or small.
