We visited the restaurant on our way home from the Peninsula. We were extremely impressed with the service and the food. I'd highly recommend it; family friendly as well!
Shortie's is a great local place for dinner. The dishes our group had included saganaki, souvlaki, fish tacos, meatball soup and Caesar wrap. Everything tasted very good! The bar is decorated with a very impressive collection of vintage posters.

Fantastic burger, fantastic fries, and fantastic fish tacos were enjoyed. The atmosphere was reminiscent of an earlier time with movie posters from past Hollywood icons (e.g. Marilyn Monroe). The waitress we had was friendly and attentive.
We're also vegetarian and there were enough options. Food completely fine, some dishes a little pricey. Friday night very busy but they were staffed adequately. Our server very pleasant. Would return without hesitation. Would add more tables outside if possible.

Have been there a few times, Kiara was our server each time - she was always prompt and excellent with our service. Also has a great sense of humour dealing with an all male table. Always fun times. M.
Visited with family on a Saturday night. Both the service and the quality of food was excellent. Highly recommend the prime rib which was perfectly cooked and very flavourful. Came with Yorkshire pudding which is a nice touch. Only complaint is that the bar area...More
