Being a sports bar, I fully expected they would have one happy hour special, or some local beers, but no such luck. They consider local beers "anything made in Canada". Food prices were slightly above average, drink prices were high, especially for beer. Service was ok. Oh, and you get free popcorn!

Have not been to "la cage" for a great while, they've reworked their menu with a known chef, and it shows. In particular the vegetarian options have been enhanced big time! Meat still appeals to me though so I had Cuban sandwich which was very good and a bit pricey, my friend partook of a Vegetarian option which was pronounced... More

My wife and I ate recently at this restaurant. She ate the wings and found them to be good. I had a quarter chicken meal and it was basically bone and skin.

I've always loved the La Cage au Sports franchise, but this one is the worst. Friend and I ordered steaks, and neither were acceptable. Smaller size than what they said, and mine was ordered medium rare and arrived overdone forget well done. Veggies were slathered in oil. They got the salads wrong totally as well. No excuses for it, there... More

We came here 5 people for a 7:30pm dinner. We sat down in the back of the restaurants at the booth table. The waiter came right away to greet us took our drink order and came back for the menu choices. This went well. However it took at least 35 minutes before we received our food. A bit long! The... This is an old location - it needs a complete renovation. Bathroom disgusting, nasty, the whole restaurant is sticky/grimy, i can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food doesn't really matter, one visit to the tiny inadequate and cramped and totally disgusting mens bathroom with no dividers between urinals, one stall that is about the size of an airline... Came here in November 2015. There is a new Chef at this restaurant. Famous Louis Francois Marcotte, French chef and has many published books. Started with a red glass of wine. I had the Brie/Mushroom Hamburger with a green Salad and honestly the hamburger was decadent and memorable! The salad was also very tasty. Their presentation on a wood board... More

La Cage is the place to be on Canadiens game night. They deliver on what you want. Good bar food and great beer. Check the specials, if you order a pitcher, they'll keep it in the fridge, so if you're alone, or not a quick drinker, you can still enjoy the specials. The food is not exceptional but it's consistent.... More

Before doing my review I read many others because I was curious what people would write about La Cage. We came here with our son on a hockey night because we wanted to just chill and watch a part of the hockey game. It is a very loud restaurant with lots of things going on. Many TV screens and sports... More

After being short on time and seeing the advertisement last week for the "new menu" at the Cage aux Sports, we headed there last Thursday around 5:30 - 6 pm, early enough not to be busy. As drinks, we picked the English Bay beer which was delicious according to my partner and I had a glass of chardonnay which arrived... More
