Excellent pastry's, baking in general, and coffee. The staff can be a bit abrupt, but don't take offense, they are just VERY busy.

Our Banff Food tour guide told us about this little gem in Canmore just down the street from where we were staying...boy were we glad! Delicious baguette sandwiches for your picnic, lovely french pastries, yum!!!
The best coffee in town. The French pastries are amazing. The decor is new and stylish. There is a small patio as well. Highly recommend waiting in line for. You know a place is good if it’s busy!
Excellent breads, great for a quick stop or takeout. Service seems hit and miss, but the Canadian Rockies can be like that.
Fabulous banquette sandwiches, and wonderful service! The chocolate mousse was delicious but could only manage a few bites-very rich. Will definitely go back
We live in Canmore and often go to Le fournil Bakery for coffee. The almond croissants are so delicious but go early - they sell out fast.
Initial interaction with smiley helpful staff was good 10/10. Ordered coffee and carrot cake for 2. 1 x Americano and 1 x cappuccino. Simple - nice easy order. Paid a reasonable price as cake looked good. Went to sit outside with the cake and waited...More
We arrived very hungry and soup with danish was the answer. Soup was great and really enjoyed by a not very keen on soup person.
The croissants and coffee latte are the perfect start of the day. Both taste like you would find throughout France. Ate a baguette and ham sandwich every day for our picnic in Banff NP, it was that good.
Croissants and pain au chocolat (chocolatine) up to the standard that I expect in a French bakery in France. Good bread too. Cakes looked good, but we didn't buy any (not big cake eaters)
