Food was spectacular! We truly enjoy trying new food and items that are NOT main stream, this was perfect! We opted for the Chef's tasting menu which was phenominal. Yes....phenominal! There were a few items that are on the menu but most are not. My...More

Seriously... the best food we’ve had in a very long time. The Scallops were the #1 dish. Followed by the Mushroom bread. Also one of the best Sangrias I’ve had outside of Spain! Great service and recommendations from our server as well! Enjoy!!!

First impressionwas strange as the address published in Tripadvisor brought us to the backdoor/delivery entrance. But once that was cleared we had a beautiful dinner sequenced in time and order of taste by the chef and service just perfectly. Also the Sangria was wonderful.

We only really made one mistake with our dining experience at Tapas, well two really. I've read many of the other reviews, both prior to making our reservation and again since dining there, and have tried to consider how I'd craft this one. Really, we...More

Stopped in for some drinks and food, tried a couple of their tapas none of which were great. Decent shaded patio and their servers were helpful, just not the best food.

We had a lovely meal here - all the dishes were excellent. Nice wine selection and a helpful server. Loved the selection of meat and cheeses as well. Only disappointment was the fryer had broken so no croquettas! We will be back.

Not sure what the fuss is. This place is average at best, and not really typical Spanish tapas. Not even remotely romantic, either, unless dim lighting is the sole criteria. Lower your expectation, and you'll have an ok meal.More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We think, as do many, that our little restaurant in the mountains is quite romantic especially on a Friday night with live music. We provide the location for a romantic atmosphere but it's up to...More

My husband and I dined at Tapas for the first time on the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had read great reviews online and was very excited to try the food. We ordered 5 different dishes. The tostados were good but nothing special,...More

This restaurant is a regular for me when I visit Canmore. Whether it be on a date or with family. The venue is great and they staff are very nice. The food is amazing and they have a huge variety of gluten free options.

Hi we are small intimate space so very young toddlers can be tricky (speaking as a parent). Young children are just fine as long as they can find items on our menu that they will like. We do not have a children's menu.

Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $25 corkage fee as well.
