There were 12 of us and we all ordered 3 or 4 dishes each. Food came out in strange fashion -- salads after pork tapas, etc. We had a lovely outdoor table and some of the dishes were great but some strange. Perhaps we could...More

My husband dropped me off at their sign while he found a parking spot on the street. It took me a couple minutes to find the entrance. Every other door was padlocked. I finally found another sign and arrow. I went up the few steps...More

The food was really good along with the friendly service, whilst it’s all about the individual sharing plates arriving consecutively, at some points the gaps did become quite stretched. That said the dishes were well worth waiting for and a nice break from the burger/fries...More

We wanted tasty titbits and this was exactly what we got. The sharing platter allowed you to choose 3charcuterie meats and 3 cheeses. It was served with olives and almonds and the waitress even brought me corn chips instead of melba toast so that I...More

We are repeaters at this restaurant. Every few months we take the short trip from Calgary and are never disappointed. The menu has been changed a bit and one recommendation I would make is go back to original recipe for cesar salad. The new recipe...More

We traveled to Canmore for the August long weekend. While it was VERY busy, a tad cooler than desired, we were fortunate enough to have made reservations for Saturday evening dinner at Tapas. Our waiter was Amanda. She was knowledgeable and curious about our needs...More

Service was very good. The food was tasty but expensive for what you get. I had a prawn main dish which was $22 that only contained 4 prawns.

Tapas restaurant lived up to its well-deserve reputation. The inside of the restaurant is charming - perfect for a romantic date night. Waitress was extremely helpful and prompt. We had the charcuterie, chorizo meatballs, portabello mushrooms, and mussels. ALL were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Hi we are small intimate space so very young toddlers can be tricky (speaking as a parent). Young children are just fine as long as they can find items on our menu that they will like. We do not have a children's menu.

Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $25 corkage fee as well.
