Excellent service, gorgeous views, lousy food! Felt mass produced and buffet area was messy. Young staff trying their best. The $65 price ticket (included tip & gondola) did not deliver as far as food quality.

Dear Vicki L, We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your dining experience at The Observatory. You should never have been charged for additional bread, and our Restaurant Manager has followed up with your server on this. Since the time when you dined at The...More

I set for five-course Prix Fixe Tasting Menu, which promised an experience in food and wine matching. And an experience it was. I guess I expected something more interactive. The question of food preferences or allerigies was brought up only after I flatly refused one...More

Dear Monika Z, How unfortunate that you didn’t enjoy your dining experience at The Observatory restaurant. The Prix Fixe Menu is certainly one of the options we offer. We also offer a full a la carte menu that is sometimes a better choice for diners...More

While the service is good and the food is decent, the experience really requires Mother Nature's cooperation. As the name indicates, you go to the Observatory for the outlook and view. Unfortunately, we got socked in with a thick fog and couldn't even see the...More

This fine restaurant has a great view from the top of the mountain. It is not too big and not too small, which gives somewhat comfortable and cozy feelings. I visited this restaurant in the winter during ski season as it has ski slopes to...More
