Great views, food decent but average. Some good beers on menu from Granville Island brewing. Portion can be huge so be careful.

Grabbed a beer while up here for a visit. Friendly service, very cozy atmosphere and of course great views I would imagine (cloudy when we were there).

The service & food were good, prices were what you'd expect at such a tourist attraction. Great atmosphere, lovely & warm inside. It's very popular so long waits to get in can occur.

This looked like a great restaurant and we wanted to eat here however we went during a holiday period and there was at least an hour and half wait for a party of five. Don't count on eating here on your visit unless you have...More

Hi MomfromWAState, You are quite right that during key holiday periods, especially when the weather is agreeable (fresh snow and sunshine), the Resort can be busy. We're sorry that you couldn't enjoy a meal at Altitudes. We'd of course love for you to come back...More

We ate during our time on Grouse Mountain and enjoyed the food and the service. The menu was fairly restricted but that was not such a bad thing for us this occasion. The atmosphere was busy but was enjoyable as everyone was in a festive...More

We just came down from grouse mountain with the family and friends and the whole experience was ruined by a flippant an uncaring restaurant manager. We were 3 adults and 3 small children who just came in from seeing Santa. Everyone was cold and hungry....More

Hi Jim, When our food and beverage team saw your review, they felt badly that your visit to Grouse Mountain's Peak of Christmas had been marred. We were definitely short staffed, but you are entirely correct about your expectation of a kind explanation. We do...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Is this just a lunch style menu or is it open all night? I just booked a table in the observatory but I'm thinking now this may be better and slightly cheaper? Thanks.

This restaurant has different seasonal hours depending on snow and other weather related conditions...probably will not need a reservation, but always good to check...
