My grandparents live by Shell & Bridgeport Road and this is their favourite restaurant. Almost every time we go for dinner, my grandparents' will order the Hakka Salty Free Range Chicken, Braised Pork Belly and Braised Plum Duck. The Hakka Fried Rice (with 2 kinds of Chinese sausage, corn, cabbage, green onion and egg), Crispy Roasted Seabass, Sauteed Black Bean... More

Went to this restaurant last week for my friend's birthday. We tried the $25 lobster promotion menu. It comes with appetizer, soup, lobster, a small main course(three choices to pick) and a dessert. I also added their famous shell dish($5 extra) and change the dessert to the chocolate lava cake($5 extra) and a drink($5 extra). So total bill comes to... More

Excellent restaurant! Their menu has an amazingly diverse selection; you can get a wide range of delicious delicacies. They also just opened for lunch, offering very reasonably-priced meals on their new lunch menu. The pork belly is TO DIE FOR and the curry beef stew with rice is very very good. The servers were also friendly and attentive, and the... More

Contemporary Chinese which is mixture of Cantonese style and lots and lots of Western influence: a style which is said to have started in Hong Kong in 1986 in Tao Yuen Restaurant. Hakkasan is in an isolated industrial park -- about as fasr away form Richmond's commercial and shopping hearts as you can gete. We went there when we saw... More

You'd never expect a place like this is Vancouver... or Richmond to be exact. It's one of those places that you would find in major metropolitan cities like New York or London ... because they trend fine dining in warehouse / industrial areas where they are commonly situated. That's what I love about this place! It's truly a destination! They... More

I pretty well tasted all kinds of chicken with all the years ive spent in HongKong ."Chicken" being one of the most important dish in chinese food, its very hard to cook it so it stood out from the rest! Hakasan sure did it well ,the chicken is first marinated and cooked... More

Was invited to Hakkasan by a friend and was impressed by the ambience of the place. Not alike traditional Chinese restaurants this place is quieter and has no rowdy feeling. tables are spaced sensibly. The food was really good and each dish was beautifully presented and still very hot which was quite difficult to achieve. The stuffed whelk was little spicy... More

Tucked away in an industrial area of Richmond, Hakkasan is different from most other Chinese restaurants due to its quiet ambience, tasteful décor and attentive service. For wine lovers, it also has a decent wine list featuring moderately priced Australian Shiraz such as Penfolds and Yellowtail although my personal favorite is their Asahi Black, a dark ale that resembles stout...
