Four of us visited for Sunday lunch on 30 October 2016. Orders were taken by a young man called Nick (according to our receipt) who is clearly unhappy in his work, cannot deal with a busy pub and is sadly lacking in any personality (others queuing were commenting loudly and stating what we were thinking). They had run out of... More

“Very Disappointed” My Niece got married on 30th July 2015 guests sent round to pub garden should of been told by staff go though pool area and sit down as many had walking sticks wheelchair medical problems strokes Ms cancer etc not left on pub bench then not brought back though front and up steps not disabled friendly at all though venue some trying to sit at dinner tables but no chairs seeing red carpet table layouts etc Bride had to get back in car and be driven round block while this happened rather than guests taken in back way in first place madness. Then when meals came some people who went to the toilet had there unfinished dinner taken cleared away by staff some wanted to keep name tags also taken etc. Then later a lot of people did not see one piece of buffet food including me and did not here any staff announce it and saw only some empty trays on table some one said the next day there was some on marquee table and a lot of people did not think we were even allowed out that way by pool side and bride wanted pool side family pics and by photographer but never happened as told to go out the front very upsetting with restaurant coming out your head in pics her father paid 1.000 bar bill but must of dropped £250.00.. no one handed it in ?? CCTV did not see who picked it up strange ? also a camera black eye pastic piece still missing not found Table card numbers that took my sister hours and expense to do in diamondties stolen from venue and tried to take card number metal bufferly holders borrowed from a friend as well only found one woman pleasant and helpful was SKY other blonde one was just saying opposite things and being pushy and rude to people thought food for small prawn coctail served on a plate ? and chicken dinner dear for £45 a head dhicken dry and like rubber cup cakes nice but think wedding cake maker did them The mirrors behing head table a night mare for phographs as flash in mirror and spoil them have to hold at an angle but mirrors a night mare for pics behind bride groom table very upset my Niece did not get pics she wanted as picked a pool as she is a lifeguard manager and so is her cousin wpuld of been nice if it was allowed but doors shut in case any kids went out is what i was told by a staff member fair enough but for adults to get some pic with bride and groom ? many things spolied the day as did not go to plan
