We had a lovely meal here and when the 4 of us paid our bill the waiter came back telling us it was €50 short. We paid the extra €50 but when we left we were very confused as we had all put in the correct amount plus an additional generous tip. We checked our wallets and knew that the... More

Again we arrive by 2 pm as by 3 pm the restaurant is full with large tables of Spanish families and friends. We were actually asked to move tables to allow a very large table to be set up but hence they did not charge us for the wine. It is really hard work for the staff but generally they... More

An awkwardly long wait to get seen for a drinks order, and then again for our food order, however when our food did arrive it was very nice indeed. 'Bread and Butter' is fresh hot bread with 2 mojo sauces, and if you like garlic your in for a treat. Our Cherne and Limpets starters were fantastic, as were our... More

If there is a restaurant anywhere in the world with a better view than this, I look forward to visiting in some day! We were inches from the volcanic rocky beach with the waves crashing a few meters away. The food was good, always a challenge for vegetarians like us! We had a delicious paella and the ubiquitous small potatoes... More

Fab location, waves crashing onto the black pebble beach nearby. Fresh fish tasty. Good section of food. Great for sunsets I would think.

This place has a great view over the sea. We had cold/hot starters which tasted good. Can recommend the prawn cocktail. Service was OK.

The food here is delicious and fresh, the view is beautiful and its fascinating watching the waves crash against the rocks. Although the waiters were friendly they didn't bring any cutlery for my main course so when I realised this I had to get up to find them and ask for a knife and fork to be brought over. I'd... More

Definitely worth the trip to El Golfo. Nice location and real nice staff doing everything they can to please their customers in a very relax atmosphere. Really really recommended for sea food and fish lovers. Fishes come fresh from the day before and hence highly recommend to ask what they have on the day. It comes with great wine and... More

Right by the sea, the paella was lovely and at a reasonable price. Great location. The service was very good and I would return. Top marks.
