Really great food. The ribs are a great starter but one portion could do 2 persons. We all had one portion each....stuffed ! Burgers are really great..... Fish and chips, wonderful. Rather flamboyant guy runs the show . Waitress was really nice. Would definately return if in the area.

We stayed here at very short notice and were made very welcome by the owner. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are of an exceptional high standard. The beds are very comfortable and rooms spotless. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning with a very good menu .Everything is homemade and this is why you should not miss... More

We spent some days on black isle and this restaurant, recommended by our tenant was a real good surprise! Good service, good food (even for French frog legs eaters!). The kids (teens) still remember the burger as the best in their (short) live several month after! Visit also the men lavatories if you can 😉.

We couldn't fault our meal this evening. Extensive menu full of local produce - we went for stovies and langoustines for starters, lamb with potato gratin, fish and chips, and seafood linguine for mains. All were delicious but the lamb in particular really stood out. Nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff! I'd highly recommend this restaurant

We spent a perfect afternoon at the Allangrange a couple of days ago. Lovely ambience, great friendly service and fantastic food washed down along with a great drinks selection including the local Cromarty Brewery's Happy Chappy. All the food was beautifully presented from the lovely Yellow Thai Curry Steamed Mussels starter to the terrific burger, the spring rolls on special,... More

Not the best, burgers were largely tasteless and buns disintegrated making for a messy eat, hubby enjoyed the fish.
