We go to the PEI Preserve Company every year when we have our vacation on the Island....more likely more than once in the couple of weeks that we are there. Wouldn't seem the same if we didn't pick up preserves and I love the beautiful bone china mugs that you can buy there too...I have a few of them as... More

Situated in rambling gardens along the River Clyde, this a PEI experience offers delicious food, an expansive selection of preserves and teas, good quality local souvenirs, and a network of walking paths. We have enjoyed all of our visits here over many summers because we are flexible. If the restaurant is busy, we order our preserves for shipment back home... More

We just went into the shop area so I can't comment on the restaurant, but lots of samples of delicious jams and teas. Friendly staff Quaint little shop. A great place to stop on your tours through PEI. Great history of how this place came to be as well.

It's a mad feeling (in a great way!) to have a whole lobster served to each person at the table by a Scottish sounding bloke and overlooking a Canadian landscape. This lovely old building has been repurposed to perfection by these lovely people and surrounded by the Garden of Hope that they've created to raise money to support the free... More

We had a lovely family meal here. Was very busy (always a good sign). The food was delicious, the service was great and we all can't wait to return next year.

Owned by a friendly character who greets every tour bus personally, often wearing a kilt, this is a good place to stop for a wide range of preserves, teas, and other souvenirs. It has good restrooms, and a restaurant which I can't comment on since we didn't visit. Outside there is a small garden next to the river which on... More

This restaurant offers amazing food at a fantastic price. We had a lovely table over looking a beautiful garden. Our service was fabulous and when our bill came we looked at each other and said " seriously only that much"? I don't recall what we had but everything we saw looked delicious. I could have just hung out at this... More

The setting is the first thing you notice. Right at the edge of River Clyde. We got a window seat and marvelled the beautiful views. We order (to share) a bowl of Seafood Chowder and a medley of baked seafood "swimming" in a wonderful sauce. The desert was the Blueberries Cream Cheese Pie. We loved all of it and recommend... Have been to the Preserve Co. several times over the years. Great place to relax in. Lovely big dining area with windows over the river. They have a lot of speciality teas - I had China Rose, which is a black tea with rose petals in it - very refreshing. They also have coffee. The Country Breakfast was substantial and... More

Nice little gift store, didn't try the restaurant. The area is beautiful. Bought a few spices and things, cookies, etc.. Small batch preserves and jams. The Garden of Hope outside is beautiful for a short walk, lots of greenery and flowers and views.

Description
We love food, flowers and friends. Our business is located in one of Canada's most scenic villages. We are located on banks of River Clyde which from the dining room is a wonderful site to behold. Our kitchens produce wonderful specialty foods for market and our restaurant serves a popular breakfast, lunch and dinner. All our deserts including ice-cream are made on the premises as well. If you like good food, nice gardens and great people be sure to stop into The Prince Edward Island Preserve Co.
