Nice cafe in the south Lake Tahoe area. Located near Heavenly Tram in a commercial area of local shops. Food was very good and menu had something for everyone. The black bean chicken chili was spiced just right & served with a nice garlic toast.

Went for breakfast, the eggs Benedict and chili omelet were both delicious. Buy their hot sauce. So good.

We found the Driftwood Cafe on TripAdvisor and were thrilled we did. The food was great and the atmosphere feels appropriately Alpine-y. We both had omelets and I have to say, it was one of the best I've had in a while. Definitely recommend this place.

We were on our way to the Gondola and didn't want to sit for breakfast, so we ordered pastries and bagels from the counter with some coffee and juice. The atmosphere was busy for a Monday morning, while the customers all looked happy. The hosts were gracious and very nice. The prices were very reasonable and I want to go... More

Our son took us to the Driftwood Cafe for breakfast and it was superb. US sized breakfast. Great staff. Might be a bit too much of a wait in the skiing season though.

This establishment is located near the Stateline area, so on the weekends expect it to be busy. The restaurant is clean, the staff is efficient. The portions are the right amount. I had an omelet, zucchini and herb cheese with potato pancakes, very good. Very good. My daughter had a chi tea latte that was off the scale. The zucchini... More

Hadn't visited this restaurant since the early 90s. In fact, had to look up their new location. But the food and service was still good and we enjoyed our breakfast. I had the 1/2 benedict. My wife had what she said was a very good omelet. We both enjoyed the potato cakes. Go here for breakfast.

Great spot for breakfast! If you're a fan of sourdough bread, definitely try the French toast. The home fries were average, but the omelette was pretty good. Service was awesome with friendly staff and waitresses who made sure your coffee cup was always filled.

Yes it opens at 7am and location is great close to Heavenly Village, within walking distance from Marriott properties (Timber Lodge and Grand Marriott). Standard breakfast, staff are very friendly, price is reasonable.

Doors were opened at 7 sharp. Breakfast menu options were extensive. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent, as multiple coffee refills arrive without prompting. Went for the morning’s special: 3-egg omelet with cheddar, watercress, hash brown & English muffins. Excellent choice. Best: one of the few places with early hours in the sleepy village.
