The food in general tasted very good and was well prepared. The fries could have been more well done if you like crispy fries. I think Fries should be crispy on the outside. The burger, while being well-prepared with good ingredients was disappointing in that it was half the size of the bun. I mean literally there was at least... More

We'd been in once before years ago...a friend suggested we give it another try. So glad we did. Great (big) burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza (cooked on the deck)...good beer/wine selection...and cocktails. Wait staff is amazing. Go.

Had a great dinner with good friendly service at this traditional pub. Also enjoyed a hard cider from their broad selection

I had business recently in South Lake Tahoe and was looking for a place for a late lunch. The ratings of MacDuff's from both TA and other rating sites almost sounded too good to be true but I figured it was worth a try. I'm glad I did. We ordered the fish and chips and the corned beef and cabbage.... More

My husband and I just got into Tahoe and saw the reviews of Macduff's and were eager to try it out. Let me just say the clam chowder was great to start and my husband had the fish n chips and it ranked in the top two of his favorites. He's a fish n chips junkie! The pieces of haddock... More

We visited Macduff's and were mightily impressed with the ambience and atmosphere of this cosy and busy pub. The food was delicious, the wait staff were magnificent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this pub to visitors to this region.

Sitting under the starts the evening was about as perfect as it can be. The view the clean air. My husband and I each got the 4 shots of beer and cider for tasting. I got the pizza which was terrific with a very nicely cooked crust and enough to take with us for a snack later. My husband got... More

The wife and I swung into Macduff's Pub last night for dinner and I have to say it was definitely worth it ! The atmosphere and food was delicious. The wife had Shepard's pie with real lamb and I had the fish and chips. The fish was so flaky and crisp, the fries were done to perfection. It came with... More

Stopped in for lunch while visiting SLT. Started with Calamari and Spinach Artichoke dip, both were excellent, especially the home made pita chips with the dip. For lunch we had the Fish and chips, Shepherd's Pie and Corn Beef and Cabbage, all 3 of us were pleased with our meals. Service was excellent and beers the same. Have a Tahoe... More

Service was great. Ruben was the best I ever had. Fresh corn beef, grilled sour kraut on great rye bread. Enough French fries for two. Onion soup is homemade. Definitely coming back.
