Great find! A lovely pub, gorgeous old building with so much character and charm not to mention the amazing views! We had a nice lunch, tasting board was yummy followed by fish and chips which were very fresh and well presented and my wife enjoyed...More

Great location. It is lovely inside and the menu looks promising. The lamb burger was okay, but for nearly £12 a greasy burger in a cheap generic bun, no salad apart from a bit of lettuce and slice of tomato on the burger, okay chips,...More

On impulse I steered my new car towards Twyning. There was a howling gale, the river was up. Inside there was a warm welcome, a comprehensive menu as weĺl as a specials board. Mix and Max furniture with comfy seating. We ordered flatiron steaks, medium...More

We had a lovely family get together here. The atmosphere, location staff friendliness were all top notch. Sadly the food was sub standard for the location. Food was only just hot enough and portions were poor. I assume during the summer months they knock out...More

This dog (and people!) friendly pub is well decorated, with its framed display of horse brasses and beer-mat wallpaper and the usual trendy mis-matching chairs. There is a huge pile of board games in the bar and various fancy dress events advertised. The soup was...More

A mixed selection of food. We had 2 rump steaks; one was fairly good, the other was tough. Fish if the day was excellent. Vegetarian option list the plot; too much and lack of attention to detail. The location is perfect next to the River...More

Went today with friends for a late Sunday lunch. Quite often when we get together, we can be a bit of a challenge for the waiting staff - but we were made to feel very relaxed and all staff tended to all our needs. Special...More

Went for lunch with family and partner. Ordered 4 baguettes, the only option was white bread. We also ordered 2 lots of chips. When it arrived, it was a smallish baguette, nothing special, with a couple of lettuce leaves, and at £7 is very overpriced....More

Description
Dear Guests welcome to the Fleet Twyning. We are a beautiful riverside pub on the edge of the river Avon. We pride ourselves on home cooked fresh food along with our traditional Wadworth Ales. We get extremely busy in the summer time as we are a very popular destination pub and wait time on food can vary from 10 minutes to 1 hour, so we ask you to be very patient with us as we cook all your food to order from fresh produce. In the winter it is advisable to book in advance as our tables get booked early on for weekends and early evenings.
