Nice local country pub, good for lunch, Sunday carvary. Welcoming and cosy dining room wood burning stove. Tables near the windows are nice when sun is streaming in. Nice coffee good veggie choices. Friendly staff.

We ate lunch here 10 days ago. The pub is under new ownership ,I feel this change is a positive one. the choice of food was good. My oh and myself had steak and ale/ steak and Stilton pie. Our grandchildren had the children's meals....More
Following a full day at Alton Towers with our four adventurers we returned tired and sore to our cold and soggy tent at a nearby campsite. We couldn't face lighting our BBQ in the rain so desperately tried to find somewhere to eat.
