Made a reservation 48 hours prior with a message that "reservation received, will get back shortly". But don't know how long is their " Shortly....... Reached there and was turned back waste of time and money.....
Excellent view and delicious food - it is a must visit if you are in North Goa.
Service can be better from a responsiveness perspective.
One needs to go with time in hand and sample the food with ease.
Vegetarian options are good. We ordered...pretty much everything on the menu. Burger, red pasta and Olive platter were awesome.More
Whenever in Goa, everyone has to visit Thalassa. It's become an institution.
The restaurant has shifted to a new place.. Whereas the earlier place in Vagator was supern for sundowner's, the new place I feel has a more open air night club-ish feel. The party...carries on late in the night and it is packed.. Recommend booking in advance.More
Thalassa over the years has created a fantastic brand name for itself. The food, the ambience and the awesome sunset views make it a must visit for the swish set who love great food and are avid Instagram-mer’s. We have visited the earlier place in...Vagator, a couple of times and were looking forward to checking out their new location in Panjim and what better occasion than a birthday dinner.
We were a group of 8 and decided to start our evening with cocktails. The Med Mojito (600) had the Rum replaced with a Greek liquor called Mastiha instead and had a lovely refreshing taste. The Frozen Margaritas (600) too were nicely done and lasted us a while.
We shared the starters which included Dolmadakia (420) which are stuffed vine leaves, Mediterranean Prawns (500) in a lovely sauce, my only wish was they had used more prawns or larger ones and Tiro-kaf-teri (380) which is a Greek feta dip which we really enjoyed and polished off with fresh pita bread.
The standout dish among the mains was the Lamb Kleftiko (720) which was a humongous portion of delicious tender lamb – absolutely yum. The lamb gyros (650) and the Prawn wrap (420) too were sizably generous and tasty. We had a very difficult time in finishing our meal and hence sadly missed dessert.
Good food, nice ambience and courteous and prompt service which complement the high prices.More
Awesome location , right on the edge of the waterbody ...the food is medi stuff....we got some real fresh and juicy squid fritters, tzatzaki and pita , few pastas, fries and pizza....we had a great party with nieces and nephew ...great place for a good...time ...More
Seems like, it would have been a good restaurant once which got it such good reviews but not anymore.
Food was below average, courtesy towards the customer was invisible and ambiance was polluted by loud unbearable music.
