We found this place via trip advisor and ended up eating here four times during our stay. It's very casual and laid back with a wicked sense of humor. The craft beer selection is amazing (we got to appreciate their 'leftover', which is a gamble on what you will get, but you can specify the style). Fantastic fish and chips,... More

We stopped in to have a beer and a different perspective of Oyster Pond. After sampling a couple of beers from their extensive list, we ordered Coconut Shrimp. They came out very quickly , hot, juicy and well cooked. We could not have asked for better service or food.

This is probably an ok place... IF all you want to do is drink. But the food is TERRIBLE!! My husband and I went here for a casual dinner. He had fish and chips and I had "fresh-caught mahi mahi." Both dinners were barely edible. We used to love this place in years past... but no more! I would NEVER... More

So happy that this place had great TA recommendations from most contributors. We were staying close by and decided to just have a nice chillaxed evening of pub food with wine in a nice relaxed setting. Well, this place definitely hit the mark. We showed up during their happy hour (5-7) and ordered about les of Rosé while looking out... More

We are in Saint Martin for 10 days and, well actually we missed one night. Great place for a meal or nightcap. There is a special drink they make with passion fruit, no name for it that I know of. Friendly place, easy to meet and chat with folks. Many repeat patrons, so we ran into people we had met... More

This place is a great little bar with live music some nights and the nachos are so amazing I came back twice for them. The beers are craft brews from all over. The menu is a trip to read with some hidden gems and bargains. This place is dog friendly too.

Our family enjoyed excellent fish prepared in various ways and jerk chicken. The restaurant is on a covered dock overlooking ax docking area. Our waitress could not have been more accommodating. Great place to have lunch!

Description
The Dinghy Dock Bar is a true Caribbean dive bar. Situated on a historic marina in Oyster Pond, the bar straddles the Dutch and French line sitting over the water. It's a place where high and low, locals and tourists, rub elbows and party the night away. It was originally a place to get the rowdy drunken sailor's out of the finer establishments in the area. Sit at the bar and to hear stories told, some true and many not, from around the island and around the world.

The "mix your own" happy hour is the best around. That's right, you get the bottle, glass, mixer, and make you own drink. This is also one of the best-stocked bars on the island, with the usual suspects, as well some unusual ones - even a selection of craft beers from the US for those missing a taste of home.

The kitchen makes some of the best casual bar food around, lunch and dinner. You won't find better fish and chips, ribs, burgers, wings, or anything else on the menu. Daily specials vary from goat stew to jerk pork chops to blackened grouper.

We open at 8am for coffee and fresh baked croissants. The kitchen opens around 11am and runs until you're stuffed. All are welcome - kids, dogs, iguanas, random dock critters, old and young people - provided, of course, they're up for a good time. Family friendly most of the day and night, late night is definitely more suited for the "big kids". You never know what will happen at this place. There is also live music every Sunday night and usually 2-3 other nights of the week.

Sports fan? The game is always on at the Dinghy Dock. Whether it's NFL, NHL, NBA, Soccer, College, Pro, Olympics, you name it and we will like be watching. Stop by and yell at the tvs(that's right, more than one) with us.

You are guaranteed to have a good time no matter what night you go, and once you've been there, you will be back. Maybe because you got so drunk you forgot your shoes, or maybe to do it all over again.
