We stayed on the East End so we got to try this out. Throughout the week we asked locals their recommendations for restaurants. EVERY LOCAL recommended Vivine's if we wanted local food. If we wanted something fancier, they answers varied, but for local food this was definitely the one to try. We went on our last day for lunch. Vivine's... More

We have been to almost all of the restaurants on the East End in two visits. Vivine's is local and she means well. However, I ordered Curried Chicken and their were more bones than chicken. My 13 year old son ordered a Cheese Dog that arrived luke-warm with a slice of American cheese ripped in three strips unmelted. Really, it... More

We went on a Friday night and it was empty. The wind was blowing very very hard and most of the tables are outside so maybe that was why. We ordered the fried fish and it came with amazing potato salad, rice and peas, and pumpkin. All were fantastic, well-loved home cooked meal. The view is incredible. This is a... More

Very good local food. Chicken is very good and the plantains are very flavorful. Scenic view of the water.

We stopped by here as we were told to check it out by the locals. Great food, for very reasonable prices. The view was outstanding as well. Would go back if we were in the area.

We had the fried fish dish with rice and bean. Amazing food at Vivine's. It is a local, well known place for its authentic Cayman food! The restaurant portion of Vivine's house is not fancy. It is very casual. But the food is delicious. We also had her home made carrot and ginger juice which was very yummy as well!

This place is the bomb. I read about it in a Fodar's guide and we drove over from Run Point to try it. We were not disappointed. We ate lunch outside at a table over looking the breaking surf. The breeze was gently blowing through the trees. Food was down-to-earth and like home cooking. Portions were large and service was... More

After reading other reviews, this sounded like a good place to seek out for lunch. Like every place here, you need to watch carefully or you will drive right past. It was well worth the stop, not for the ambiance, but certainly for the food. Generous portions very inexpensively priced, freshly cooked and so tasty. Sitting outside to eat and... More
