As my son didn't get himself any potatoes on his plate I went back to get him some. I was confronted by an angry looking member of staff, maybe the landlady. "Have you finished with that".... More

This lovely pub always has a lovely menu and friendly atmosphere and gets very busy for Sunday lunches . However on this occasion it wasn't overally busy and only around 8pm we ordered and it took forever for our food to arrive . (50mins) We are really placid so it didn't matter at the time , my husband had ordered... More

We arrived just 2 minutes after 2pm, to be advised that the kitchen had just shut and, on enquiry, they would not serve us lunch. Just very... More

Our group dined here a year or so ago and I can't recall being charged £8:30 for a glass of average white wine and a cola made from concentrate and water (went to my local "non gastro" pub last night. Same drinks £2 cheaper!). That sort of set the scene for the evening. I had the liver and bacon -... More
