We went here a few weeks ago while stopping at the nearby lodges. The decor and atmos were very good and the food was fantastic too. a little on the high price but very nice.
Whilst staying at the nearby Griffon Lodges we wandered through to Tykes. Quite an impressive country club appearance and the two young staff on duty were friendly and efficient. Steak was excellently cooked but chips were awful. Sea bass nicely cooked but not much stuffing....More
Lovely meal, great atmosphere, food is lovely. No starter so mains x2 and a pudding - beautiful locally sourced beef and ice cream!!
Food was nice but nothing special, staff were absolutely fantastic. I had fillet steak and was cooked how I asked for it to be done.

Stopped in the cabins recently after a great time last year ! Sadly even though the front of house staff were great , the food has gone downhill dramatically !! Bland, undercooked, sour just awful !
