It's certainly a lovely intimate venue and it has the friendly, relaxed service which also adds to any evening out. The food was also very nicely executed (aside from the overpowering mint which didn't give the honey / parfait much of a chance. But there...More

A huge serving of traditional fish and chips on a board, at a bargain price. Well, I could tell you where to get that in Norfolk but it is not what this report about. It is a review of The Neptune at Old Hunstanton. I...More

Within Michelin’s scoring system, there must be one star places that are knocking on the door of the second star. Similarly, there must be places that just scrape in to the one star category. Neptune seemed to us to fall in to the latter category....More

Thanks so much to Kevin and his family for a wonderful weekend break at the Neptune. The hotel is petite but perfectly formed. It is elegant and simple in design and tastefully decorated throughout. Our room was spotlessly clean with plenty of space. The pillows...More

Our first visit to this restaurant and we loved it. First of all it looks just right; a small, old country building with a comfortable yet sophisticated interior. The owners and staff could not have been friendlier and provided that easy professional service that makes...More

We were treated to a double room bed, breakfast and 3 course dinner for two, at The Neptune Inn and Restaurant. Having arrived early, we followed good advice, from our host, by visiting nearby Ringstead (with its Hidden Treasures rooms in the General Store) and...More

Hi Kate, My opinion that this is a restaurant that is geared towards couples/fine dinning though I believe well behaved children are accepted and Sunday Lunch offered. I think a quick call to the Neptune would be advisable.

Description
This restaurant has some rooms, and has a listing under B&Bs, but I feel should feature under restaurant section for Hunstanton - as that is its main strength and focus.
