We visited the pub on a couple of occasions for a drink and snack. The landlord was really friendly and the pub had a relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice and clean pub with the good selection of local beers. Service is good and quick. Atmosphere is calm and pleasant. However food was quite bland (Fish and Chips), chips were tasteless, fish batter lack seasoning.More

We have visited the artichoke for family gatherings but we popped in for an impromptu supper on Monday. We had lovely food cooked by Craig and Laura certainly made us and other customers feel welcome and valued Thank you

Yes they are. When the was at the Artichoke a customer was there with his faithful friend. I asked the landlady about this and she told me that this dog was a very welcome visitor to the pub. Hope this helps.
