So we came across this little French Creole restaurant right as it was opening. No one was there yet and I thought maybe we should just drive by and eat elsewhere. I'm so glad we didn't. The restaurant is alfresco dining with a couple ceiling fans and one floor fan to keep air moving on a hot day. The interior... More

Fabulous ambience and very genial host. Food was all excellent and portion sizes just right. The prices were moderate by St Martin standards. We had goat curry x2, Mahi Mahi (pronounced my my) in creole sauce all from the specials menu; and creole chicken and kids chicken and chips (a la carte). A prix fixe menu was also available with... It's a bit off the main road, but absolutely worth it! Beware of the Taitu Special desert! The aged rum is extremely strong (you were warned...now try it, it was great!)

I loved the setting of this restaurant. The service and the food was # 1 ! It's quiet and cozy. We ate really well. I have no complaints. If you are looking for amazing food at a good price, this is the place to go

during my most recent vacation i took the opportunity to dine 5 evenings in this restaurant. you can spend more on a meal in st martin but for quality and value combined i am convinced this is where you get the bang for your money and you have great variety daily between the menu and 4-5 specials so you can... This was close by so we stopped in. Glad we did! Excellent creole fish. Wonderful sides and bread. Very kind and good service. Loved the outside feel and laid back vibe! Too full for dessert but would love to go back.

We have been coming to Le Taitu for dinner on every visit to St. Martin. Food is excellent and reasonable. They offer a price-fixed menu that has a few selections of main course and includes a dessert. Best food we had on the island this visit and less than we paid anyplace else. Highly recommend.

Rented a car from on a cruise, after the beach trying to find a place to eat and we found the small great place. Owner was great, the food delicious, nice french wine and they had a kids menu, a plus. Very relaxed feel no hurry enjoyed the company. Totally recommend this place to eat. 5 stars.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Jean, the owner, is attentive. Coconut flan is a real treat. Definitely eat there.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Le Taitu. We had driven by this cute, little local spot many times as we stayed at Mont Vernon last year and again this year. Some people by our pool told us to give it a try and we are so happy we did. It was smaller then I expected but just adorable, with... More
