My husband and I visit this pub every time we stay in Clare. The food is amazing. Great fish and chips, and the local seafood is amazing. The owners, Patrick and Patricia are very kind . We love visiting with them and the locals. I...More

My family and I dined here on our first day in Ireland and were thrilled with the hospitality and food. I think all of us either got the fish and chips or the beef and Guinness stew and both were excellent! Our dinner here was...More

From conversations with people local to the area, this is apparently The Place to get fish & chips. The recommendation was not misplaced - food here was really quite lovely. Unfortunately, service was really slow. In their defense, they had a large tour group in...More

Staff were really friendly and easy to talk to. Food was good. Back room had an old musty smell, to be expected of an old building. Overall good experience

After a morning in Doolin, we went for a little drive to Fanore and it was a fabulous drive with loads of scenery, you have to do it. The reward at the end is O'Donohue's pub. Very comfortable and gorgeous old Irish pub setting. The...More

We frequently visit Fanore and always stop at O Donohue's for food and a pint or two. The food is always of the highest quality and you get plenty to satisfy the hungry tourist. I would recommend the fish and chips, beautiful and freshly cooked...More

The only pub or restaurant in this tiny town, but the food was great. I recommend the crabmeat options.

First-rate local cooking (mussels, fish and chips, Irish stew etc), a very friendly host, and great music (not every night - check!) And a view across the road of the sea and the Aran Islands. What's not to like ?!

Great pub ambiance, good food. Usual fish and chips as well as yummy Irish stew and a great goat cheese salad with good mix of fresh greens.

Well worth stopping if your passing threw Fanore. Amazing view of the coast if your sitting outside. Highly recommended the fish and chips the best I've tasted in a long time. Staff extremely friendly and efficient.

Description
An absolutely incredible pub on the Coastal Road in Fanore, Ireland. The food is out of this world for pub food. Beautiful, artistic, inexpensive and of the highest quality. We had better food there than we did at several high end restaurants in Dingle. Please rate this place. It it totally worth a visit.
