Was on a trek and stopped by for a quick meal . The hosts were not friendly and the order took long . Food was fine though . The location is excellent and I am told it is in a erstwhile council office .

Visited here on a Monday evening. Lovely and quiet the food was served promptly and hot. Shame they did not have any coleslaw available-the ribs looked a bit bare! We also noticed they were not offering the pizza parlour-I wonder why? Great value for money never the less we will be back.

I have been a a couple of times and I have been fortunate to have had a good experience on all occasions. It is clever the way the pub is somewhat divided in a way that if a football match is on, it does not take over the whole pub. It is nice because it still has that nice 'match... More

This place needs the health inspectors in. Went here for lunch with my daughter and granddaughter the staff were scarce no condiments dirty tables filthy Highchairs didn't want to put my granddaughter in it! The decor needs a lot of attention discussing smell of sewage not very attractive at the best of times but in a restaurant it beggars belief.... More

I have never had such a bad experience in a 'restaurant'. Went here for my son's 13th birthday yesterday. To be honest, it wasn't our first choice but with 14 of us it was hard to get booked in elsewhere at such short notice. I had been here some years back and wasn't particularly impressed but places change.... How wrong... More

Went here Wednesday with friends. Great potential set in lovely grounds but not a wow want to return again feeling. The broccoli and mushroom Wellington was enjoyable although gravy lumpy. One of our meals had to be returned as cold. The sweets were nice though. Lacked atmosphere. The weather spoons pub fairs better than this. When I went to the... More

We held a relatives 90 birthday meal with some of her close friends. Staff were kind friendly and helpful. Including bringing in the cake! Food very good and great value as usual with the brand. Everyone had a good time. Decor maybe tired but the experience is not. Well done staff.

Came here for a quick bite before going shopping. Excellent value with their starter offer two for £2.50, then two mains for £10.99 BARGIN! Really filling and a wide choice, also bottomless drinks! Will definitely be back really want to try the curry night on Monday's.

Went there Sunday evening. Our main main was good. Then came the pudding, two of us ordered sticky toffee puddings. They were rock hard and not edible! My waffle was ok a little bit hard but I eat it. Couldn't go wrong with my husbands vanilla ice cream. The place was cold I never even took my jacket off. A... More
