Locally sourced, delicious food, ambience and do NOT pass up on the cheese cake.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! The ambience and food selections were first rate! It was a lovely, quiet restaurant that offered locally sourced foods which was something that I appreciated. We rarely eat dessert but ate the home made cheese cake on our last night. My husband believed that it was hands down, the absolutely best cheesecake he had ever eaten. The cheesecake was light and fluffy, not tightly packed cream cheese type cake we eat in the US. We at their twice and enjoyed the ravioli, steak and lamb. This restaurant is a MUST when dining in Pacentro. The ambience was lovely.

After visiting the beautiful village of Pacentro, my husband and I stopped for lunch in this place that we found while browsing the internet. What can I say? Top experience! Traditional Abruzzo dishes revisited with a note of originality and taste, the young owner and Chef Denis knows his stuff and expresses it all in his dishes, as well as in his friendliness and availability! Excellent first courses and sublime, as well as plentiful, lamb served with perfect cooking! Even though the place was full, Matteo who served in the dining room worked diligently and didn't let us miss anything. Prices appropriate to the quality of the dishes. If there were 6 dots they would all deserve them since there are only 5 I feel like adding a praise! Highly recommended! We will be back for sure! Well done, well done guys, continue on this path! We returned, after 2 years, to this restaurant in Pacentro, remembering the excellent impression we had previously. A confirmation. Excellent food, friendliness and friendliness of the staff and the owner, Dennis, who in a few minutes seems to have known him for a long time. We had lunch and dinner for 2 days, tasting various dishes from those offered on the menu, which is not very extensive but made up of refined dishes that are well presented to the customer. We tried the starter of cured meats and cheeses, the fettuccine with white wild boar ragù, the fettuccine provola, sausage and truffle flakes, the local kebabs, the sour mugnoli, the baked potatoes and the grilled vegetables. Mention of merit for the beef fillets, excellent, and for a tiramisu that can also be eaten on the plate. You are satisfied with the bill, the prices are in fact low especially if, as in our case, they are compared to those now out of control found in Rome. Highly recommended +++++

Good food, attentive and friendly service

We were here on the occasion of the town's medieval festival. We ordered pallotte and duck breast as starters and chitarrine with saffron and ricotta and pappardelle with bacon, tomato, honey and pecorino flakes. We couldn't choose the best dish, particular flavors but with local products, young and attentive staff, an excellent experience to repeat!

We went to this restaurant over the long weekend of December 8th. Restaurant in the center of Centro. Friendly staff, very nice place and delicious food. The dishes are spacious and really good and special, the price is very appropriate for what you eat.

Small but very welcoming and characteristic place. We had a very good house starter, two truly exquisite and special first courses (the pasta is homemade) and to finish a roast which was fantastic! We will happily return. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! The food was excellent... the cabbage cooked under the ashes was a delight! Staff available. The owner, as well as the restaurant's chef, is affable and ready to give advice. If you're in the area, make a reservation. You won't regret it.

We evidently stumbled upon a No evening! Pizza served without the required ingredient, mozzarella, served without warning us is still terrible. Evidently we were simply unlucky. The advice is to avoid pizza. The appetizer was also terrible, i.e. the variety of fried foods which compared to the last time were almost inedible

Delicious and Owner is Awesome!

We were in Pacentro for 2.5 days and ate here 4 times! One because it was the only restaurant open, but also because it was delicious and the owner, Dennis, is awesome! I think we tried most things on the menu - pizza, most of the appetizers, most of the pastas, the lamb chops and the chantilly cream! The house red wine is also amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fairly garnished menu. Excellent strips, fabulous tiramisu, the only small flaw, therefore I don't give 5 stars) the tagliatelle, although delicious, were completely without salt, (it can happen but...). I will definitely go back.

We had carpaccio, pizza fritta and lamb chops. Very good meat and the lamb was still juicy. Carpaccio was garnished with truffles. Very good Montepulciano house wine. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Review dated 04.11.2023 Nice place in the heart of Abruzzo, very welcoming and convivial. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, always smiling and helpful. Tasted for the first time their excellent pizza with mugnuli, accompanied by kebabs with "worth cooking". To then finish with a delicious dessert with the typical Ferratelle. Incredible restaurant

We enjoyed such a wonderful meal on an ordinary Tuesday night. Everything was melt-in-your mouth amazing. The service was attentive and kind, even as we fumbled through our duo-lingo Italian. We could eat here so many more times.
