Have eaten at The Hoops a few times with family and friends and they never fail to provide a warm, friendly, tasty day or evening out. The food is amazing and the cost is equally as good. Perfect pub.

I visited Hoops Inn last week for a meal with a large group of friends. It was a freezing night but the room was very cosy and welcoming. The food was delicious! I had the venison and dauphinoise - really tasty. The service was great and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be dining at Hoops again.

We had a lovely meal here on a Saturday evening, us being two adults and one 11 year old. The Menu was wide, we were all spoilt for choice. The surroundings were comfortable and modern and the service was friendly. The pub was not full but still had a great atmosphere, It was a cold night and the fire was... More

Hi, Thank you for your feedback, I will make sure it is passed onto everyone who worked Saturday evening. I'm glad to hear that you found the pub comfortable - you can't be a roaring fire in the autumn! I am also please to hear that everyone enjoyed their meals. The specials menu is constantly changing, so we hope you... More

We had heard that the Hoops had had a face lift since our last visit last year and wanted to try it again. We were pleasantly surprised; the interior feels more inviting (Henry Moore cushions on the benches), wood burner in the fire place and the same excellent chef with a varied menu. The manager's quirky character added an extra... More

Hi Claire Thank you for visiting and taking the time to share your kind words. I have passed them onto the whole team including Ali - our head chef who has designed the menu himself, especially the specials - and Alistair our definitely Quirky (we like that word) manager. He has only recently joined us and appreciates the kind words.... More

Chose The Hoops to meet friends as a half way meeting place between our home in Cambridgeshire and friends in London. We had a lovely evening. It's a cosy restaurant with very tasteful decor. Friendly servIce, nothing was too much trouble including one request to share a starter and when we were all too full for both the treacle tart... More

Six of us, two being vegetarians tried the tapas. A good selection, decent portions and reasonably priced. There is also a full pub menu if you don't want tapas. Service and atmosphere was good. A bit out of the way so I would recommend a daylight visit first. On the whole a good meal.

Hi Steve, Thanks for visiting and taking the time to share your feedback. I'm glad you all found something you like on the tapas, it's a popular choice. We also try to have a couple of new vegetarian dishes on the specials at all times, as it can be difficult to find new and interesting vegetarian dishes at some places.... More

We've visited the Hoops Inn on a number of occasions and have found it a very pleasant experience. The decor is lovely, the garden is well tended, the menu is varied and on the whole the food is good. However, our most recent discovery means that we will never go back. Our order contained, amongst other thing, a fried halloumi... More

WE had a delicious meal here. There was a lovely menu with great choices. Daily special choices unusual for a pub and loved the smoked salmon with micro herbs. Great pudding choice and lovely garden to sit in.

Hi Thank you for your kind words. We're glad you enjoyed the meal. We're proud of our specials menu of choices you hopefully don't see everywhere everyday, so it's nice to hear some lovely feedback for that. I will make sure I pass on the compliments to the chef. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Dan More
