We were a group of 10 plus little ones who visited today. We were made extremely welcome. Service was friendly and excellent. Even given food for the ducks. Great coffee and cakes

Really lovely staff manage this busy kitchen - food is ‘top pub grub’ standard and coffees also a couple of steps above your average cafe ☕️🤩

Delicious egg, bacon, sausage etc in well designed café (stacks of space) served by friendly, smiling staff. Only sorry I haven't been here before now.

We were greeted with a huge smile by a member of the front of house team and seated at a table which overlooked the grounds. Taking our order, the staff were very helpful at the till and everything was explained. As the food was freshly...cooked, we knew that it wouldn't be delivered to our table immediately and we were able to have a natter over our hot drinks which were quickly with us. The meal was excellent quality, very fresh and well presented. The service was swift and courteous. The place is spotless, as are the staff! We always have a great meal at The Kitchen and return regularly because we know the quality of the food and service is always top notch.More

The setting is lovely. Staff are friendly too but disappointed with our cake. Victoria sponge was very very dry and I left most of it as did my friends. I know one was carrot cake, an odd taste and dry. Such a shame.

We've always been impressed with the food and staff at The Kitchen. The owners have always been welcoming and the staff are so nice. We normally go in the morning so we have the breakfast menu. Being a lover of food I tend to go...for the full breakfast with tweaks which are never too much trouble for them. The food is lovely, never greasy or overdone and presented very well. We could go to 'Spoons and get a bigger breakfast for half the price but you wont get the quality and that's what sets them apart. Recently we've gone for lunches and they have been just as good! A personal favourite is the Bacon, Brie and Cranberry Panini. Today I had the Mac n' Cheese with Garlic Bread and Pulled Pork - WoW. I'm surprised more people don't know about it! Kudos to the team at "The Kitchen"More

Ordered a ham sandwich and it came with cheap bread with margarine and one tiny square of the cheapest processed ham, that didn’t even cover the whole sandwich. Just terrible. On the plus, the staff were lovely.

Food OK when it eventually arrived but service was slow and shambolic. OK, they were busy, but it shouldn't take 45 minutes to prepare and deliver two paninis and an hour to come up with a ploughman's (with no butter), though faking it to the...wrong table didn't help matters. The lack of an apology for the long wait and the cock-up was conspicuous.More

Great coffee and delicious looking selection of cakes. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and well run. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again. Fantastic fresh food and 5* customer service! My family and i visit The Kitchen every week, we are always greeted by the kindest of staff at the front door and seated where ever we wish! Our food is always super hot and fresh, the Paninis...are delicious and the home made soup is yummy! So many cake options to chose from including Vegan and Gluten free! Coffee is so so nice, strong and creamy! I can not fault this place at all, it's so clean and such a happy environment, nothing is ever too much trouble! Heaters outside if it is cold! Separate toilets! Baby changing! Wheelchair accessible! Great for big gatherings! There is also a duck pond, you can purchase duck food from the Cafe!More
