The restaurant was smaller than some, but had a fancy high-quality atmosphere. The lobster pasta dish was very good.

Randa Husid is first easy to find and open from 12 to 10pm. Around 50/60 seats. Staff is very kind and performant. It was our first try in Iceland; langoustines/lobsters are so good and fine that we would like to taste them twice ! We...More

Definitely worth the trip. Cosy and understated, but the food is absolutely brilliant. Try the lamb and the beef, besides their own craft beers.

We came back to Rauda Husid after two years and we were impressed with good food and very good service, much better than two years ago. I spoke to the staff and found most of them came from Lithuania and they were all polite and...More

Our family of four had a late dinner with two kids ages 8 and 11. The kids menu was available. Lobster pasta and lamb dinner were delicious! Make sure you call before you go and make a reservation as this place is always busy.

A local recommended this restaurant to us when we were in south of Selfoss. The service, food presentation and quality were all just average but the serving size was generous. The price seemed a bit high but it's Iceland. I liked the seafood chowder.

Service, food and atmosphere. Those three words sum Rauda Husid up, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Lava cake and belgian waffles for desserts- highly recommended! Good selection of local beers!

Save yourself the time and expense and bypass this restaurant until the kitchen staff is overhauled. My wife and I ordered three appetizers and a lava cake dessert. We batted .250 (1 good and 3 not up to snuff). The Humarsmakk appetizer (three langoustine lobster...More

Hi! Almost any dish on the menu can be made gluten-free and dairy-free. There are a few exceptions, which are marked on the menu, and I'm afraid all of our desserts contain either gluten or dairy. But for starters and... More
